My Flickr friend Lars commented that he didn't know I could do interior pictures when I posted the previous picture. I am still not sure I can, but this gorgeous house really made me want to try.

All photos are taken handheld and without flash, so if they are blury is that the reason.

Please see the previous posting for details of the place. There are more photos in the first comment.

{Location - Undisclosed location. Hydra Base.

{Time - Really late at night. Like past your bed time late.

The Wizard paces across the floor in front of a large vault door. His teammate, The Trapster, is trying to break the seal of the door. Whirlwind is on the ground enjoying a cup of coffee, wondering why he's here. Taskmaster is leaning back on the wall wondering the same. He knows he is better off on his own, but for some reason accepted the offer the Wizard gave him.

(Pshuw!)

Suddenly the sound of a teleporter fills the silence in the long hallway. The sound causes all of the "Fightful Four" to direct their attention to the source of the sound.

"Pardon the interruption. I'm looking for the bathroom."

"Piss off, mate!"

"That's exactly what I'm trying to do Paste Pot Pete."

"The name's Tra..."

"Quiet, fool!" The wizard exclaims. The Trapster directs his attention back the door.

"Why are you here, Deadpool?" Whirlwind chimes in.

"No one's listening. I'd just like to find the bathroom.

The Frightful Four make no effort in amusing Deadpool with an answer. Seconds pass and The Trapster finally cracks the code on the vault door.

"Got it!"

"Taskmaster and Whirlwind, go inside the vault room. Get the weapon ready for extraction. Trapster, go get the car."

The three follow the commands. The Wizard walks towards Deadpool and rips off the cheap wizard cap from Deadpool's head.

"Hey! Mickey gave me that!"

"Bugger off, Deadpool. You have no business being here."

"I actually do. You however, do not. I'm here to stop you and your partners from stealing that weapon."

"Why do you care? This weapon will allow me to rule this world. Defeat any hero that comes in my way."

"Y'see that's the problem. I like the way this world is. Sure a few changes here and there would be nice, but I don't want to see anything you'd think of as the ruler of the world."

"Then you'll have to stop me..."

"Gladly..."

Cockatiel

Scientific Name: Nymphicus hollandicus

Description: The Cockatiel is an unusual member of the cockatoo family. It is small in size, and has a slender body and long pointed tail, which is more characteristic of the smaller parrots. Its plumage is mostly grey, paler below, with a white wing patch, orange cheeks and a distinctive pointed crest. The male can be identified by its bright yellow forehead, face and crest. Young Cockatiels resemble the adult female, although the young males usually have a brighter yellow face. The Cockatiel is not found naturally in any other country, but is a popular cage bird, second only to the Budgerigar, Melopsittacus undulates. The Cockatiel does not have the screeching voice of many other parrots and may learn to 'speak'.

Distribution: The Cockatiel is widespread throughout mainland Australia, but is uncommon in Tasmania, with only a few sightings being reported to date.

Habitat: The Cockatiel is seen in pairs or small flocks, in most types of open country, usually near water. It is common throughout its range, especially in the north and the more arid inland areas.

Seasonal movements: Throughout its range, the Cockatiel is strongly nomadic, moving around in response to the availability of food and water.

Feeding: Cockatiels feed on a variety of grass seeds, nuts, berries and grain. They may feed either on the ground or in trees, and always in small to large numbers. Cockatiels roost in trees near water and travel from these areas in large flocks to feeding grounds.

Breeding: Cockatiels may breed at any time, in response to suitable periods of rain, especially in the more arid regions. Both sexes share the incubation of the eggs, which are laid in a hollow, high up in trees. Suitable trees are either in or close to water. Cockatiels enter the nest hollow tail first.

Calls: Although mostly silent, the Cockatiel gives a long and distinctive "queel-queel" in flight. It does not have the screeching voice of many other parrots and may learn to 'speak'.

Minimum Size: 30cm

Maximum Size: 33cm

Average size: 32cm

Average weight: 90g

Breeding season: Normally July to December in south of range

Clutch Size: 2 to 9, usually 5

Incubation: 19 days

Nestling Period: 30 days

Taskmaster, focused on the task of breaking into the case where the weapon was, failed to notice the body of Deadpool crawling to it's head. As the body reached the head it leaped to it's feet and placed the head on it's shoulders.

"That is one heck of a headache!"

Taskmaster turns his attention to Deadpool. His eyes widen underneath his mask.

"How?"

"One thing you'll never be able to mimic of mine. Regeneration. Thirteen out of fourteen Doctors approve."

Taskmaster unsheathes his sword.

"I won't need it."

"Well we'll see about that."

Deadpool runs towards Taskmaster. As he gets close to him he jumps over him doing a front flip in the process. Deadpool punches the glass of the case and rips out the sword from it's pedestal.

"What does this weapon even do? Any volunteers?"

Deadpool points the tip of the sword towards Taskmaster and smiles underneath his mask.

"You sir! You are the next contestant on the Chopping Block! "

Deadpool raises the sword high above his head.

"I have the power!

As Deadpool begins to swing the sword towards him, Taskmaster pulls out a smoke pellet from his belt and throws it at the ground. The smoke distracts Deadpool long enough for Taskmaster to make an escape from the vault.

"Skeletor!"

John and Chas wait till later in the night to go grave-digging. The two find the grave of the Headless Horseman and abruptly begin digging. Luckily for them, the grave was not a full six feet deep, so they got to it sooner then they thought. Chas jumps down into the hole and opens the grave. John sighs as he sees the thing he was worried about.

"Bollocks! His head is missing."

Chas climbs out of the grave and sits on the ground next to it. Seconds of angered silence pass until John breaks it.

"No! Johny Boy! I'm not giving up! This trip isn't going to end with bugger all to show for it."

"John give up, the guy has been dead for almost two centuries and no one has found his head."

"I'm not giving up, Chas. I can't. I'm not going to let someone die because of a reason I could have prevented."

A loud laughter is heard from close by.

"Hello?"

Another burst of laughter is heard, this time John hears the direction it came from.

"Chas, shine your torch over there."

Chas shines his flashlight towards the direction John pointed and it shines on a shed down a stone trail. John looks at Chas and shrugs his shoulders.

"Couldn't hurt investigating."

"Yeah, but if you die by some psychotic murderer inside that shed, don't come haunting me."

"That's why you're coming with me as my muscle."

"Screw you, John..."

View On Black

Just managed to take this shot in the foyer of an upscale shopping centre (Astoria) in Istanbul before guards told me that the taking of photos in the mall was forbidden. Anyway, I bought myself a stunning "little black dress" (on sale) there and wore it that same night when we went to a dinner and entertainment show at a posh hotel :-)

Have a wonderful Thursday and thanks as always for your visits and kind comments.

I thought that was going to die young. I was 9, i got pierced by a rusty can and was told by a neighbor that if I got tetanus I only have a year to live. When you are nine you don't ask questions, you also don't tell your parents because the hole in your foot was caused by a can which was floating in Anilao River. A place which was off limits to you. So you either face the wrath of your mother or wait out the remaining days of your life. Believe me, beast mode Luchi is something you don't want to experience so for me, the choice was easy.

They say that life begins at forty. Hell no.

For me life began that summer when I was ten.

When I was no longer scared of not waking up.

When the rust that was called tetanus was no longer running in my veins.

When I was free.......and no longer scared.

Thank you for your faves, comments and appreciation.

I had a great 40th.

Latin Name: Erithacus rubecula - European Robin

The European robin, known simply as the robin or robin redbreast in the British Isles, is a small insectivorous passerine bird, specifically a chat, that was formerly classified as a member of the thrush family but is now considered to be an Old World flycatcher.

The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Males and females look identical, and young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown. Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away intruders. They will sing at night next to street lights.

They eat worms, seeds, fruits, insects and other invertebrates.

Their measurements are:

Length: 14cm

Wingspan: 20-22cm

Weight: 14-21g

Taken in our back riverside garden while sat enjoying a cuppa after doing some gardening. We have two pairs which are constantly in and around our garden and we noticed today that one pair has a fledgling which was being fed in our front garden. (Sorry, not got any photos ... yet!)

Taken with my Canon EOS 7D Mark II and Canon Telephoto Zoom 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM EF Lens and framed in Photoshop.
