Sunday night we went to see our lovely and so talented friends Smooth Operator playing in Hedon.
We went for delicious food at the Camerton pub beforehand and even managed dessert before heading to see the gig.
Helen (the singer in Smooth Operator) even borrowed my Orinoco womble to wear while she was singing Wombling Merry Christmas, ha ha!

A version of one of the world's standard photographs: Sleeping Bear Dune through this dead tree from the boardwalk at the top of the Empire Bluff. The tree's definitely a mere shadow of its former self.
Lake Michigan and South Bar Lake are visible; Empire Village is just this side of South Bar. And the glorious Empire beach runs along the shore.
===================
Evidently the tree's damage was recent, and was deliberate vandalism. See 1Cher's comment, below, for more information. Sad.

Our annual Lincoln weekend.
We ate well on the Saturday, blimey!
An all-you-can-eat breakfast in the morning at the Premier Inn was followed by lunch back at Lawson's.
2 courses for £16. I had the amazing beef again, while Gemma had pasta. Then we washed it down with glorious sticky toffee pudding.
On the night we went back to Carouself then on to Popworld.
What a brilliant day and a cracking weekend.

(not so great, but whatever)
I was playing around with HDR, and it came out friggen amazing!!! But then it added a stupid watermark, so I'm not using it :[ so now it's just this lame version of the picture that would've looked so much better as HDR. I'm so upset!
Oh well, maybe I'll figure it out another way
Today was pretty good.
Other than the fact that I'm starting to have attachment issues I need to get over. Gah..
