Class 91 electric locomotive 91109 hammers through Stevenage station northbound with a East Coast Railways Kings Cross- York service train.
I'm not sure of the speed limit at Stevenage station and Class 91s are capable of 140mph but limited to 125mph on the ECML so this is possibly the speed of this train at this point!

31438 was withdrawn from mainline service by British Rail in September 1995.
Absolutely adore Class 31's. Cut my young trainspotting teeth on these in this British Rail blue livery at Chelmsford station on the Great Eastern Main Line in the late 1970s.
Note the signal token key ring hoop thingy in the drivers hand. These tokens are used to prevent more than one train operating on a single line section of the railway.

Currently the smallest warship serving in the Sol Union Navy, the Anzio-class corvette is a modern, fast vessel built in large numbers by Martian shipyards and several other contracted worlds. Designed by Olympus Industries, the Anzio features a powerful engine, 200 mm railgun and, unusually for a craft its size, a hangar bay from which two Rapier squads can deploy.
This extra capability comes at the cost of armour and shielding. Although a craft the size of an Anzio can normally be fitted with military-rated shields, the space taken up by the hangar limits the Anzio to a simple deflector shield for micrometeors and the stress of Skipspace.
The Anzio's primary roles are as escort to merchant freighters, in-system patrolling and policing duties, and diplomatic transport. Corvettes are not typically seen serving within battle fleets due to their vulnerability, but their sizable numbers serve to pad out the Union Navy and frees up bigger ships for more critical (and dangerous) missions.
The defense of the Terra-Klendathu Prime merchant lane during the 2324-2326 pirate actions is an excellent example of the viability of the Anzio design. Likewise, the defense of the GX13 Hera's Dream on 06.03.29 by the UNS Murphy (CC-43) and the UNS Geronimo (CC-59) is another example of the corvettes lethality, but also its vulnerability.
Although outnumbered by corporate mercenary ships, the two corvettes used their superior mobility to evade their attackers, while sending out their Rapiers to supplement the punishing fire of their railguns. Even when the Geronimo suffered a direct hit from an enemy missile which knocked out its railgun, it continued providing supporting fire to the Murphy with its point-defense weapons. Later investigation revealed that shrapnel had missed the power core by only two inches. The Murphy lost three Rapiers, the Geronimo lost four and had thirty-two crewmembers killed.
The Anzio has recently made its way to the Periphery, where it is increasingly popular with the Colonial Militia.
