Greater Anglia Class 90 electric locomotive 90002 pushing a Greater Anglia London Liverpool Street-Norwich service at Colchester station in Essex (UK)
Note the narrow platform 2 at Colchester. I've always said that this platform is particularly dangerous especially with fast down through trains.
Soon to be replaced by class 717 electric trains no. 313 047 stops at Watton At Stone Station on 2nd October 2018.

English Electric Type 3 Class 37 diesel locomotive 37405 as operated by Direct Rail Services top and tailed with 37425 working the Abellio Greater Anglia Great Yarmouth- Norwich summer drags short set at Norwich Station at the end of the Great Eastern Main Line in Norfolk (UK).
An extremely rare example of a classic first generation diesel locomotive hauled service train. Great stuff!
37405 was built at The English Electric Vulcan Foundry in Newton le Willows and entered service as D6982 on May 13th 1965.

Suburban slam door train arriving from Watford. This picture was taken in the last few weeks of operation of the class 501 stock, which was introduced in 1956/7 and used on all services on the Euston-Watford and Broad Street-Richmond routes.
Seen crossing over Beal Lane and approaching this platform...it would then terminate here rather than continuing to Rochdale! :(

On Class Day on May 12, 2023, members of the Class of 2023 gathered, shovels in hand, for the traditional planting of a class tree. Then, they received their NMH Alumni Association pins, signed each other’s yearbooks, and picked up their caps and gowns. Later, they enjoyed a slip-and-slide and ice cream.
On Royal Train duty. Prince Charles was visiting Cumbria and the Royal Train was stabled in Preston station during his visit.
