This dapper fellow at Mission's Heritage Park's annual Father's Day Old Car Show happily posed for me beside this vintage car (1930 Model A Ford). I was surprised to learn he wasn't the owner, given his fitting outfit; but I saw him standing next to the car engaged in conversation with someone about it, so assumed he was.
Could've worked in the whole car from a different angle, but somehow I liked the birch tree being part of the scene. Looking at Sonja Peterson's photo of what I believe is the same 1930 Model A (see my comment below for her photo), I recall the reason I chose to put the birch tree in the frame is because it blocked the "For Sale" sign in the window which seemed to distract from recreating "a 1930's moment." I also chose this angle because I wanted to show the spokes more readily.
As dusk approaches, The Cotswold Lion railtour, led by Class 67 No. 67005, passes through Gloucestershire on its return journey from Worcester Shrub Hill to Peterborough on 16th October 2021.

D5631 approaches the bridge at Dead Man's Hill on the North Norfolk Railway, with the 1130 Holt to Sheringham - 13/05/2022.
I originally planned to visit the North Norfolk Coast on the Saturday, but Lorraine & I were both off work the day before, so we decided to bring our trip forward to the Friday. As it turned out, we were incredibly lucky with the weather. Despite a fair bit of cloud about, the sun was out just about every time a train passed us.

Cappagh Blue 60028 powers past the River Great Ouse at Littleport, with the 6M89 0901 Middleton Towers to Ravenhead Sidings sand train - 15/07/2023.
I popped in here first to see this train, before trying my luck with the 'Merry Wherry' railtour down the road at Prickwillow.
By pure luck, this train came through just as the sun hit a nice, blue hole. Therefore, I captured both the trains on camera that I wanted to photograph, with the sun out. Quite an achievement I think, with all that cloud about!
Shunting at Carlisle Kingmoor, the yard a shadow of its former self. Loaded timber wagons in the background, but no service to Chirk this week.
Last train of the day over the viaduct, passing this lovely location at 21.13.

British Rail Class 20, otherwise known as an English Electric Type 1, No. 20189 at Grosmont station of the North Yorkshire Moors heritage railway on 26th September 2021. A total of 228 locomotives in the class were built by English Electric between 1957 and 1968.
Class 66 No. 66112, operated by DB Cargo, passes through Gloucestershire heading for the steel works in South Wales on 24th May 2021.
69005 and 69006 at Cheltenham,running as 0Z69,Gloucester to Burton Wetmore Sidings.
69006 had been named "Pathfinder Railtours" whilst at Gloucester - 23.6.23.
37403 is seen on the Branch Line Society's 'Technical Cobra' rail tour, 1Z88 Derby-Ponterfact Monkhill. The location is the bridge over the River Calder at Wakefield.

66047 I seen heading back towards Immingham with an empty biomass service. The location is a remote farm crossing near Womersley. Just look at all off that signage. I wouldn't mind, but apart from me and the local farmer I don't suppose that crossing gets used at all.
