I had a great time shooting with 12 other photographers from Hong Kong and our guest from Guam tonight. Our last stop was the infamous fruit wholesale market at Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong. I had a clear vision as to what I wanted to shoot and most of the shots turned out quite ok. So I will be uploading shots from this evening before I do the Vietnam ones.

Equipments: Canon 5D Mark II. Canon EF 85mm f/1.8
I went downtown today to add some variety to the project, but was overwhelmed and intimated. There was so many people, too many choices. I had a tough time tracking down a model. Secondly, remember just a couple of days ago I said that I am getting better in asking people for pictures? Turns out I was wrong. I used to wander around bus stops or train stations, where people stand around and wait, which would be relatively easier for me to approach them. But when I was at downtown today, people were constantly moving. The challenge is how to stop a person without being rude. It's a totally different game.
Although it's though, the reward is also exceptionally great. Why? Let's let today's picture do the talking.

Like most of you, December is a bit of a hectic month for me so hopefully I will get to see all of your images as quick as I can. In the meantime, I will thank you now in advance for having a peak at my images here.
From 'What you think this is, it isn't' ongoing series that I've been working on in Rijeka, Croatia.
I was really tired and happy to lie on my belly in the wet grass and search for water droplets.
I like the refraction in these and the way the drops throw off little rays of light.
Flying home today. Will try to catch up from the airport.

La GARZETTA - Egretta garzetta
La garzetta è lunga circa 55-65 cm, il suo peso varia da 350 a 650 g ed ha un'apertura alare di 85-95 cm. Il piumaggio è interamente bianco, il lungo becco è nero, come le zampe, mentre i piedi sono giallastri. L'iride è gialla. In abito nuziale questo airone sviluppa alcune penne ornamentali molto lunghe sulla nuca, alla base del collo e sul mantello. Non esiste una caratteristica evidente che differenzia i due sessi.
