First photoshoot i did last sunday.

It looks like an Italian restaurant but this is actually a Thai restaurant. Good lighting, couldn't resist taking a pic.

This is almost SOOC.

What could it be?

Some of the protesters have genuine interest in the issue. The construction of the railway will mean that the villagers of a village would have to move from their home, with compensation from the Government. I think they are the ones who deserve sympathy.

There are unfortunately other protesters who have no genuine interest in the project. They protest for the sake of it.

By 5 pm we had over 300 mm of rain today alone...

As I walked around on a beautiful September afternoon, I saw plenty of people on the streets celebrating the Badgers home opener. While a bunch of them seemed like they would be willing subjects for a photograph, my eye was rather struck by the individual with a turquoise mo-hawk on a stoop. I walked by, glancing with a slight acknowledgement from him in the form of a simple head nod. I reached the end of the block, but felt that the picture had painted itself right before me; and had I had passed that opportunity up I may not get it again.

So I turned around, switching out my lens and getting my settings ready for a quick portrait on the fly. Meet Justin, a transplant to Madison from Milwaukee he expressed to me that he was just a "stereotypical punk," on a most beautiful day. His plans were simple for the rest of the day, "absolutely nothing" and just "hang out." Originally Justin had planned to join the armed forces and serve his country, unfortunately antics his childhood caught up with him and put his plans on the back burner. I realized at this moment that I had become caught up in the conversation that I never asked about including him in my 608 strangers project. He agreed quickly and sat simple on the steps, with little prep work or posing required I fired three frames and knew I had at least one keeper. I climbed the steps to show him what I had captured, and he cracked a smile and expressed a good feeling about them. When I told him where I would share the photo not only here on Flickr and the 100 strangers group. When I explained that I was still new to the Facebook world of photography, he told me that it was no worry as he wasn't a member.

A slight surprise BUT it allows him to be free and not be

changed by what is posted. A interesting chap Justin was, as we parted ways I expressed to him that as I lived just up the street he should not be a stranger if we are to pass each other on the street in future events.

This one was particularly aggressive and was chasing ants that were passing by. Too bad I couldn't snap a photo of it while it was in action.

Mr Yip's words lingered in my mind long after he disappeared. I had a long and hard thought as to what his words meant. As I was in deep thoughts, I found myself back to the narrow alley where they found the body. The pool of blood had gone. Strange. It was there minutes ago.

Remember the DNA test I had carried out on the blood? The results had been in my pocket but somehow I hadn't read it. I opened the sheet of pocket and it reads 'DNA test of the blood matches with James Ye.....'

Suddenly as if lightning struck, I saw what happened as if a movie was played back in my mind. I pulled up my shirt and found the hole with burgundy colours surrounded it. I know it was a gun wound immediately. Yet I didn't feel any pain.

Then I knew. And I recalled Mr Yip's words 'You should know better, kid'.

Sorry for the clumsy finale but I have been struggling with it. I didn't really have a storyline with me when I took the shots but thought I might give it a go. So here you are - my feeble attempt to link the pictures up for a story.
