Caratteristico esempio di architettura rurale del secolo XVII,l'edificio fu costruito a piu riprese .Le fondazioni della primitiva costruzione poggiano sulla nuda roccia,appunto la "croda" della montagna.

This is a better one than the last. No bird, but more interesting cloud and color formations. I was so hung up on the bird that I thought that had to be the best. This was also take 20 mins later so the sun is not as bright. That made the editing on the other shot a real nuisance.

Zandmotor, met aan de horizon de industrie op de Tweede Maasvlakte. Ik had het kunnen weten maar toch nog helemaal onverwacht zeiknat geregend. Voordat ik mijn regencap had uitgepakt was ik al nat. Tropische toestanden kwa hoeveelheid in korte tijd. En nergens een plek om te schuilen.

In dit mooie pand geeft Schumacher zijn "injectables" en nog heel veel meer mocht je zin hebben in een totale make-over van het uiterlijk.
Bij deze foto prefereer ik de zwart/wit versie ver boven de kleuren

Vandaag heerlijk fietsweer. Via Scheveningen door de duinen naar Meijendel en vandaar weer terug naar de Waalsdorpervlakte. Onderweg zag ik de twee torens van Anselm Kiefer staan, die staan zo'n beetje in de achtertuin van museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar. Fijn gefietst.
Ik vind deze 2 torens (Jericho) wel passen in het landschap.

Ik had dit (nep)kerkje al heel lang op mijn verlanglijstje staan, zag het de laatste weken ook regelmatig voorbij komen maar ik wist niet precies waar het stond. Vanuit de randstadrail naar Zoetermeer kon je het zien.
Vandaag de stoute schoenen aangetrokken om op zoek te gaan. Via Ypenburg, Nootdorp en Zoetermeer kwam ik eindelijk in Leidschenveen (gewoon Den Haag dus, maar dan wel Vinex) waar ik het in de verte zag staan. Met veel geluk met weer en op het juiste deel van de dag wat de zonnestand betrof kon ik het dan eindelijk vastleggen.
Een van de ontwerpers zegt er het volgende over:
Laurens Kolk: ‘De kerk is een verkleinde en geabstraheerde versie van een gewone kerk. Het gebouwtje is ontoegankelijk voor het publiek, maar bevat een werkende klokkentoren (inclusief uurwerk en luidklok) met een eigenwijs geprogrammeerd luidprogramma.'

Historic Canterbury Shaker Village is one of my favorite haunts. While some come to tour the historic buildings and to learn of the Shaker culture, I enjoy the simplicity of the grounds and the opportunities to pursue captures of images for both wildlife and landscape photography.
