Die Wallfahrtskirche Maria Hilf liegt auf dem Mariahilfberg in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, in umittelbarer Nachbarschaft zum dortigen Karmelitenkloster. Zu der Kirche führt ein Kreuzweg mit 367 Stufen. Erbaut wurde die Kirche im Zeitraum von 1718 - 1727, wobei die Außenfassade eher schlicht gehalten ist, Im Innenraum zeigt sich jedoch ein zarter, feiner barocker Glanz. 1907 erbauten die Karmeliter ein Kloster neben der Kirche, dass bis zum Jahr 2001 ein geistliches Zentrum für Wallfahrer darstellte, dann jedoch aufgrund von Personalknappheit des Ordens geschlossen wurde.
The pilgrimage church Maria Hilf is located on the Mariahilfberg in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, in the immediate vicinity of the Carmelite monastery there. A Way of the Cross with 367 steps leads to the church. The church was built between 1718 and 1727. The exterior façade is rather plain, but the interior shows a delicate, fine baroque splendor. In 1907, the Carmelites built a monastery next to the church, which was a spiritual center for pilgrims until 2001, when it was closed due to a shortage of personnel in the order.
It was a windy day when I took this picture. As this place is always crowded with visitors, to find a spot to do long exposure was not so easy. One hour for one photo...

Canterbury Shaker Village
Canon 5D Mark ii with Canon 24-105mm F4L IS USM
Historic Canterbury Shaker Village is one of my favorite haunts. While some come to tour the historic buildings and to learn of the Shaker culture, I enjoy the simplicity of the grounds and the opportunities to pursue captures of images for both wildlife and landscape photography.

Bristol Falls
Bristol Falls Park is a lovely little place to visit in downtown Bristol, NH. It's a fairly recent reclamation project, only being open for a few years.
After walking the trail for a while (it runs along the Pemigewasset River for quite some distance), I returned back up the trail to the falls. I find that coming back on a feature from a different direction can provide a unique perspective. This perspective is further altered by giving it the Monochrome treatment for this capture.
This shot of the falls was taken hand held.

Kantoorkeldrers bij Beeld en Geluid op het Mediapark in Hilversum.
Voor mijn 80ste verjaardag (in november '24) heb ik geen cadeautjes gevraagd maar uitjes. En bezoek aan Beeld en Geluid in het Mediapark was er een van. Dit stond al een tijdje op mijn bucketlist. Bedankt Joke.

Het oude uitkijkpunt achter het Atlantic Hotel is gesloten, is onderdeel geworden van een een ondergronds bunkercomplex.
Ter compensatie is er in dezelfde buurt een nieuw uitzichtpunt gebouwd. Hoog op de poten en geheel van hout.

Museum Paul Tetar van Elven, aan de Koornmarkt in Delft.
Huiskamerinterieur.
Het is een klein museum maar heel erg leuk om te bezoeken omdat het helemaal ingericht is volgens de mode uit de tijd dat het bewoond was door schilder Paul Tetar van Elven.

Eindelijk een beetje zon. Op naar het strand om wat foto's te maken. Ik heb mijn camera een week lang niet in mijn handen gehad.
In de verte de Zandmotor, en daarachter de Tweede Maasvlakte.
Er stond veel wind en de zee was woest.
