So, erm, yeah. I kinda made another one of those monstrous layer cakes, this time with lotsa nuts and a chocolate sponge cake in between. Well, I still had the opened tetra pak of HuLaLa, what was I supposed to do?

The pond is blue jelly - the garden plants are jellybeans - cheated a bit with after-dinner-mints for the roofs.

Took forever to make but GS was happy.

This was an Easter Birthday Cake! If you look closely you can spot a bunny in amongst the cats. There are jellybeans in toasted coconut grass for their eggy web hunt!

Yummy Cake Recipe

1 box Duncan Hines French Vanilla cake mix

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 Cup Crisco oil

1 small can crushed pineapple and juice

3 eggs

2 mashed bananas

1 Cup chopped pecans

Stir by hand; mix well

Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven that has been pre-heated.

Walmart has Duncan Hines French Vanilla cake mix.

I left out the pecans.

This is even better the next day!
