I also made another Chocolate Malteser cake as a birthday cake for me, since we enjoyed the last one so much. This time I had the right sized cake tins (I can't believe how expensive they were - ÂŁ9 each from John Lewis). As you can see the cake turned out much better this time. Sorry about the picture quality though - my flash on the small camera doesn't seem to want to light it properly.

This cake was vanilla, with buttercream icing. It is one of two made for the Blackburn Arms soccer league for their last game of the year.
A delicious and very moist layered Peach cake with whipped topping--- So light and airy, yet divinely decadent:)
I am caked out. After today, I am carb free, unless the carbs come from a giant salad or a heaping bowl of broccoli, cauli, or brussels sprouts. The research will move to Hopkins, where I will learn about the mechanisms of the sweet tooth.

The cake I made for Kylie's birthday slumber party. I also made a larger 2 layer cake of just Hello Kitty's face for the family party the next day, but forgot to take pictures of it.

This is the tornado cake my daughter made for my co-worker's retirement party - after I repaired my delivery-caused-damage. The picture doesn't do it justice - there's a cow's head looking out from the tornado, along with a tractor tire. A cow's back end is on the side of the cake, and the fence posts list the retiree's responsibilities.
