An initial attempt at cake pops. I'm quite pleased how they turned out. They've got a vanilla sponge and vanilla buttercream mix inside and are dipped in white chocolate and covered with blue sugar.

I decided to make a pound cake on Friday -- my first time baking a cake from scratch. How hard could it be?
This little one turned one and my customer wanted to try a cake smash! Not really something we traditionally do in the UK. However it is becoming more popular. I have 3 bookings for these already this year. It was fun though
My first attempt at a topsy turvy cake...pretty hard...but I think it can be done again. I used mud cake and a chocolate ganache underneath the fondant...very very rich!! I made the fondant myself...marshmallow fondant. It's good, can be colored easily and you can add flavor to it. The two clownfish were made of fondant as well. I think it's pretty cute for my 2 year old's birthday who is obsessed with Nemo!
A cake for an 18 year old who likes sewing. She had made a cushion cover for an exam and this was the only thing needed for the cake, the rest was up to me. So, I did the blue 'fabric' first then worked around it. Fabric is sugarpaste, needles and pins flowerpaste and all other decorations gumpaste.
A last minute teletubbies themed cake - unfortunately no time to make the teletubbies from fondant....with matching cupcakes for the party bags!
