I've been wanting to try a mini tiered cake and this is my first attempt. My pile o' flowers tendency resurfaced on this one. :| I also wanted to try Fondarific -- this is buttercream flavor and, to me, it tastes just like candy corn. All decorations are fondant and the flowers are molded. Thanks for looking.
OMG!! This little baby made it into Explore On October 14, 2008. I'm astounded!
I don't know what wicked things these cakes have done, lol, but £1.20 seems a small price to liberate one :)
This is Lolita's premier--off the first roll from Bob Delaney's Trip 35. It performed flawlessly--not one problem. Many thanks again Bob! For me, this kind of shooting is what the Trip really does best. I just love the way it handles night shots. Truly, this is a gift that will keep on giving!
Fish cakes, which are known as "bung-uh-pang" are a common sweet sold by street vendors in South Korea. It is a fish-shaped "pancake" that is hollow and filled with sweet paste. They are served hot and only in the cold season, so this was taken on one of the last days that they were open.

Chloe and Sophie's joint second birthday party today and this was the cake Martie made. We were all astonished at her incredible artistry.
Schokotorte mit Sahnecreme gefüllt. Am Rand ist sie leider nicht so schön geworden, aber geschmeckt hat sie trotzdem.
At the edge is not become so beautiful, but it was tasty.
I absolutely loved making this, even though I was dithering about the design for aaages! The customer has the baby's nursery decorated in wallpaper from Debenhams, and sent me the wallpaper swatches as inspiration.
Bambi was really difficult to model, and I went through about three heads. I finally had to admit defeat and go with this final head - I am not happy with him at all.
I loved making Thumper, and made him in less than half an hour, which is a record for me. The little bluebirds were drawn, painted and cut out before placing (all edible) - I do not have the guts to paint straight on to the cake.
Two tiers of vanilla sponge.
Crab cakes topped with a sweet & tangy remoulade. Served with roasted asparagus.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE asparagus...I could live off it!
I made this cake for one of my best friend's daughter, the lovely Diya, who turned 4 at the weekend. This was my first attempt at a castle cake and I'm really pleased with how it turned out! The two tiers are moist chocolate cake and the tower was actually handmade from cardboard and covered to match the cake. As requested by Diya the castle was pink with purple highlights :-)
