9 month old shoot from Saturday. Holding the ornament up was her mom's idea, in hopes that she'd stop crawling away! This ended up being my favorite shot of the bunch!
I used the soft vintage and burned edge actions.
Christmas 2019 filled stockings and decorations. That is actually a plant tree which is another item that my very good high school friend gave us. As much as it can be very useful for plants, I liked the idea of making little crocheted mats and putting the decorations on it. I've also used it to put halloween decorations on it in October as well. You may notice there are also some more salvaged matted and framed photos on the left, which are on the dining room wall.

Here is my Christmas loot. I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all did as well! This is everything except for some golf stuff and of course candy.
Fritz sat well for awhile, the outdoor light I was counting on had burnt out. I have a little glow from the window above him.
I upped my ISO a lot (6400), I wish I had more light on his face and more Christmas lights on his backside.

Merry Christmas to one and all, across the Flickrverse. Looks like a greenish Christmas in our part of SW Ontario. A few left over patches of the evil white stuff lying around, but none expected till after the big day. I hope that each and every one of you has a blessed day tomorrow, and may Christmas be all you want it to be, and more.
Isaiah 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Defocussed Christmas tree. I took this picture with a Canon RP and Leica M mount Voigtlander 40mm Nokton f1.2 using a close focus LM to EOS R adapter. I think this is why there is so much cats eye bokeh as it was seriously out of focus.

This is a printable Christmas diorama for your Blythe dolls, inspired by Miss Retro Mama's adorable paper kitchen. Print all three images in A3 size, cut and glue them together. Instructions in this image:
1 - Cut the pieces. Glue tab 1 on the back of the first wall;
2 - Now glue tabs 2 under the floor piece;
3 - Tadaaa! : ) Merry Christmas
A real Christmas Tree from my neighborhood. I went out to capture some Christmas fun at 2.7 megapixels. Because film isn’t challenging enough. Nikon D1 digital camera, still a pro, even if it isn’t up to modern ‘Hype’. It can get the job done. These were shot at ISO 200 and f/22. Using a Kodak DKL Schneider-Kreuznach Retina Xenon 50mm f/1.9 lens adapted to Nikon. That lens is late 1960s vintage repurposed from a retired Kodak Instamatic Reflex 126 camera. I meant to set the shutter speed as well, but in the end, I forgot and left the D1 to its own devices. These are Downtown, Ogden, Utah shot on Boxing Day 2021.
Merry Christmas everyone!
And , if I had power functions lights, I totally would've have put them inside to get a TRUE Christmas scene, but I don't even have any regular Christmas lights to use. =(
i declared today christmas tree day, dragged my cousins over to my place, and we set the tree up. :)
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and Child.
Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night,
Shepherds quake at the sight;
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!
Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love’s pure light;
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.
Silent night, holy night
Wondrous star, lend thy light;
With the angels let us sing,
Alleluia to our King;
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!
With the chaos of Christmas dinner preparation in the background a look at the deserts made by my wife and daughters. At left, top are almond logs, middle Italian Christmas cookies, bottom almond stars. In front are rum balls. To the right a wonderful Christmas trifle. My daughter Carolyn found this to be no mere trifle to make. All were enjoyed by those assembled - there were 10 of us.
