Christmas decorations give me chance to play with my camera.
Like these deliberately out of focus pictures of the lights reflecting in a bauble on the tree.
Seems I have a little dust either on my lens or the sensor. The sort of thing that only shows up when you're wildly out of focus like this. But I think it adds to the character in this case.
For my 120 photos in 2020,number 118 "yarn".
Nearly finished, just 4 left!
I wish I could knit like this, but alas no, it's a bought jumper from H & M, from a previous Christmas.

we're decorating for Christmas...at least the guys are...we welcome everyone...whether you're a snowman...er...snowperson or an angel...who cares...it's a commemoration for all...so enjoy...

A wallhanging christmas decoration I've made for a friend ^^
Biggest star is 6inches from point to point. I used cream cardstock, gold snowflake christmas paper, sparkly black paper, blue and gold glittery paper, a star embelishment, burnished gold eyelet, gold embossing and a red and gold decorative thread.
This friend doesn't really celebrate Christmas, but not for want of trying, he just doesn't have the time or energy - so I am making him a few things and sending them over XD
Ssshhh nobody tell him!
Annnnd, the Christmas tree is up and decorated - pre-Thanksgiving. I don't even know why I did it, since I'll be visiting my sister and her family during Christmas. I guess I just like looking at the bright, colorful lights during the darker time of the year. Plus, it makes for some great photo ops! And yes, that's a suitecase and part of a studio light umbrella on the right side of the image - I felt it was appropriate: I travel whenever I can and I used the studio lights for some portraits. Besides, the festive suitcase hides the electric cords.
