Place any greenery of your choice and cranberries in a jar. Add water and watch as the cranberries float to the top. Place either a floating candle or tea light candle on the top.

Happy Facedown Tuesday Christmas style!!!
I know Christmas just ended, but this picture was just too uncensored and hilarious for me not to post! Maybe I can make this a Christmas Card for my cousins in the future.
precariously perched at the top of the stairs, I found this petite little evergleam tree (the branches are so full on this one) at a local antique store half-off on Black Friday.
Yay, sparkly artificial goodness. I know they don't smell as nice, but They also don't dry out or require watering (I get fruit flies if I leave anything moist out).
the ornaments have been in the family for a couple of generations now.
As I process my Christmas Captures taken with family over the past several days at many gatherings, I am remembering these good times already. Will be passing on some of these to family members so they can remember the times as well. This shot I am sharing here is of a fun moment with my daughter on Christmas night at a friend's house. I was over at the house with my camera gear to take some photos of their new train garden, but prior to that I took advantage of their beautiful tree and decorations.
Using some bounce flash, and maneuvering my angle, I was able to get this shot of my daughter in the christmas ball. As she is about to leave us for 8 months for some study-abroad, spending this time together has been special. Hopefully she will have fun and some great experiences in South America. Let's see what 2013 has to bring for all of us!

I sort of cheated- they're not even sewn together, but it's hardly even noticeable.
There's one hanging over the doorframe into the kitchen too!
