Our Christmas Tree. There are decorations that go on the tree year after year & some new ones each year.
I never fully appreciate the tree until I spend some time up close and take in the little hidden places between the branches.

3 litre Christmas pudding
Just out of simmer oven - 10 hours at 120C in water.
a wee bit late this year but it will be fine.
I have been making this pudding recipe for a long time. I adapted it over the years, critically appraising each pudding and deciding on changes to the recipe. ..but after this experimental tweeking phase it has become a stable recipe for past decade.

I think not! The bar that has the Bigfoot statue behind it has these three on a bench in front. They appear to be chimpanzees, sculpted wearing clothing and illustrating see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. At the beginning of December I noticed they had been dressed up for Christmas.

Im Vordergrund ein Likör lokaler Produktion sowie im Hintergrund ein Kalender der die Tage bis Weihnachten zählt.

Christmas arrived early it "seams", with a wonderful gift from a dear friend. Seamed 15 denier RHT stockings, with Cuban heel, from Secrets in Lace. Needless to say I had a LOT of fun showing these off last night. More shots from this fabulous evening upcoming.
The Christmas decorations are largely understated this year but hopefully they still look pretty. This is a plain white twig Christmas tree with built-in white lights and pale green baubles. Along the mantelpiece we have a green garland with warm white lights in. You can see our white fox ornament too.

A Christmas "Downsizing" special without any of the little people. The dinghy is parked up for the winter and the sea is calm, bringing to mind the song "Dignity" by Deacon Blue.
