The Christmas Market in Ghent is well worth a visit, at the entrance on one side is a bar with great Belgium beer and the other a Ferris Wheel.

For me, Christmas wouldn’t be complete without attending the annual concert of the world-renowned King’s College Choir, Cambridge. So here we are this year at the Barbican Hall in the heart of the City of London (the capital’s CBD), awaiting the arrival of the conductor.
The concert, as ever, was special and uplifting – and, as in the past, King’s were joined by the 150-strong Crouch End Festival Chorus, plus the Philharmonia Orchestra. The magical concert was conducted by Daniel Hyde, music director of King’s College Choir.
To all my Flickr friends and visitors, have a Happy Christmas, and I send you my warmest good wishes for the year ahead.

Going on a trip to Canada earlier in the year, my son (30!) said to bring him something Canadian back, but didn't give me any idea as to what he wanted....
... so he got this stuffed moose head, to mount on his wall! :-)

We've been stripping down some trappings with the idea of living more simply, cleanly and minimally. So we agreed: no tree this year. I swiped these greens from a pile of discarded remnants trimmed off Christmas trees purchased from our fruit/veg monger last week. We stuck it all in the bucket my mom kept her yarn and needles in ... and voila -- instant tree. We left the four overstuffed buckets of ornaments in the little closet under the stairs down cellar.

This is one of my best friends, Vic. We're practically neighbors so he gets to come over a lot. We got bored the other day and decided to play with Christmas lights. Yay!

Have been adapting my teeny tiny toy pattern to nmake some christmas tree deccies for friends. I'll write it up as a free pattern over the weekend and post it on the blog sometime next week.
Bournemouth put on a spectacular show of Christmas lights for the "Wonderland" featured through the lower gardens for the run up to Christmas. Loads of colourful trees, light shows, and this one, probably the favorite of the children, of the Teddy bear.
During a quick shop in Gunwharf Quays, JJ and I admired one of the Christmas trees - this being the main one! Spinnaker Tower in the background.

Our tree is not very big, so, it can only be decorated with dainty baubles.
I bought this felt ‘basket’, and put some of the larger ornaments in, favourites that just need to be out and I like it!
Turned out well, happy and colourful!It now comes back every year, never the same twice, lol
