I spent yesterday evening in Mt. Rainier National park. It is a breathtaking place, where nature rules and beauty is abundant. I have never shot there before, so this was a real treat for me. I love photography, because it gets me out, and leads me to beautiful places like this. Taken at a bit above 5000ft, it was a lovely afternoon spent around the lake, and in the meadows.
Afterthought: You can see how sloppy my post processing used to be. I added the frame before I was done with PP and when trying to blue up the skies...you can see that it bled over into the frame....doh....

Spring snow on mountain ranges that were burnt in the 2006-2007 Alpine Fire. I always think the "fringe" of grey outlining every ridge and spur resembles an old man's whiskers.
