This is a rare 1965 Alpine A110 first series sports car. Although A110s were also built in Spain, Bulgaria, Brazil and Mexico, this particular car was produced by Alpine in its hometown of Dieppe in northern France.
The A110 was bought into the UK in 1984 via the Lenham Motor Company by an enthusiast owner whose car-owning past also included a Formula Junior Cooper T52, an Ausper Formula 3 car and the unique Marina Rolls-Royce sports-racer. A few years later, some extensive recommissioning work was carried out that included an engine rebuild, and the owner would end up keeping the car for well over 20 years.
Having spent time in Alpine Blue, the car is now once again beautifully presented in its original shade of Ivory. EKT674C was seen at the Classic Motor Hub on 14th February 2025.

A perennial carnivorous little plant.
Eurasian arctic-alpine areas are its home on the northern hemisphere.
The leaves are arranged in a rosette. Their surface is sticky and full of glands that produce digestive enzymes. Little insects landing on their leaves become trapped in the sticky mucous ground and the leaf edges roll toward the center, to bring more glands in contact with the victim.
Bon appétit!
It takes several years before one plant blooms.
I have found these at 1,700 m Altitude, on Mt. Wendelstein, Germany.
In Germany strongly protected.

William Watson Lodge in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (Kananaskis country) offers some stunning mountain views. I stayed up for a few mornings hoping to catch some sunrise colours. The other mornings were pretty dull, but made for good black and white images.

The Italian sparrow's behaviour is similar in many ways to that of the house sparrow. It is a social bird, which feeds mostly on seeds and insects. It is mostly sedentary, but it wanders to some extent outside its breeding season. These wanderings are mostly local, but they may extend into southern France. Similarly, the house sparrow sometimes occurs as a winter visitor in northern Italy.
Si les couleurs brunes et grises de la Niverolle la rendent peu visible quand elle est au sol, l'envol est toujours surprenant avec le déploiement de grandes plages blanches sur les ailes et la queue !

Growing in a strawberry pot on my roofdeck. This is the twice a week harvest. These are very tiny, strongly flavored berries.
Another little flower that's recently come out in my rockery.
