Alpine, Texas Amtrak station waiting for the arrival of the Sunset Limited, on its way from Los Angeles, California to New Orleans, Louisiana. The train was running late and the station was deserted.

Nicht so berühmt wie am Großglockner, aber nicht weniger schön.

Not as famous as on the Grossglockner, but no less beautiful.

It is always beautiful to watch the sunset at the mountains...
I have stitched 4 high resolution images for this panorama.
Es ist immer sehr schön, den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen zu beobachten...
Ich habe 4 hochauflösende Bilder für dieses Panorama zusammengesetzt.
Snow
The lake, woods, clouds and glaciers on background.
What else ?
Un lago, boschi, nuvole e ghiacciai sullo sfondo.

It's good to see that these meadows in the Alps seem to be still intact. In the lower regions you hardly ever see a meadow with a lot of different flowers, due to enormous production pressure which leads to 5-7 cuts per year, which doesn't help bio-diversity...

Our Nature.....Calmness , Raw , Beauty and Pure...😍
Behind me the highest waterfall of Germany with 470 meters, and feeling the drizzle and the freshness .In front the lake Obersee with his very famous boathouses...The mountain range behind called Watzmann. It is a mountain in the Bavarian Alps south of the village of Berchtesgaden. And it is the third highest in Germany, and the highest located entirely on German territory. Hocheck (2,651 m), Mittelspitze (Middle Peak, 2,713 m) and Südspitze (South Peak, 2,712 m).
Unforgettable hike...!!!!!
Please respect the nature and keep it clean...!
These daisies were growing among the rocks and snow on the Schneehüenderstock at 2650 metres.
I think they are Leucanthemopsis alpina.

A place called Arvengarten, what means "garden of swiss stone pines", at the foot of the Eiger, Bernese Oberland with great view towards the Wetterhorn
Moonrise over Traun lake and Grünberg, taken from Gmundnerberg, Upper Austria in autumn. Happy midweek to all.
The tiny flowers of alpine Erodium are in full bloom at present. They provide a colourful display during the summer months…

This is the view from Muktinath across a large expanse looking at Dhaulagiri in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. To get here is a feat in itself as it's situated high in the mountains. When I arrived there was a fuel shortage and most of the towns in rural Nepal were feeling the effects of vehicles having no fuel. Supplies were short, and the people were also feeling effects of decreased tourists as a result of the recent earthquake.
It's almost irrelevant what you wear in high altitude the cold is bone chilling. As a photographer this provides unique challenges as we like to get up well before sunrise, and stay up into the night. What you can't see in these shots is the guy freezing on the other end of the lens. Or the feeling that pushing over a 15,000 foot mountain pass puts into a tired body. It can't explain how small I feel here, these mountains make elephants into ants. It's hard to understand the scale, but essentially it would take literally days of walking straight up to summit the mountain you're looking at. There is nothing like these mountains in the world.
A friend took delivery of his BMW M2 last week and I had the opportunity to shoot and ride in it last Saturday. The M2 is quite the little beast and the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires help grab the asphalt through the curves and propel the car in the straights.
