An endangered skink found in the alpine regions of Victoria.
A view of the Snowy Range, the alpine forest at timberline, and Libby Lake. Medicine Bow Peak, the highest at 12,014 ft. (3,662 m) elevation, is in the center. Sugarloaf Mountain at 11,398 ft. (3,474 m) elevation is the closer, conical-shaped peak to the left.

This specimen is a planted flower in a show garden of endemic plants on the ÖBZ ground, in Munich.
The alpine delphinium is endemic to Southern and Central Europe and parts of Asia. Often in the mountains, at subalpine, alpine heights.
There are lots of cultivated versions of it. It is cultivated since the 16th century in the gardens of Europe.
I hope one day I will present a wild specimen.
High in the Canadian Rockies tranquility can be found. I found an alpine lake in which the majestic peaks of the surrounding mountains were reflection in the still surface. With the first blush of dawn and a few clouds sprinkled across the sky it was a setting of peaceful tranquility that I could capture in an image.
