4 oktober kon er naast de Connecting Europe Express en paar treintjes aan de Betuweroute nog een leuke bonus geklikt worden. Toen we op het station van Dordrecht stonden te wachten op onze trein naar huis, zag ik opeens wat bewegen uit de zeehaven. Eerst leken dit auto's te zijn, maar even later bleken het ketels te zijn. Het was maandag, dus dat kon maar een ding betekenen: RFO was ketels aan het uithalen uit Standic!
Snel werd de camera tevoorschijn gehaald, en zo kon een plaatje gemaakt worden van de recent gereviseerde 6702. We konden onze trein naar huis nog halen, maar deze lieten we schieten toen de Belg omliep om de 1828 te halen. Voor een plaatje met een Nez-Cassé wordt namelijk altijd een uitzondering gemaakt! ;)
Nadat de 1828 voor de trein stond en deze ook opgebouwd was, konden er wat plaatjes gemaakt worden. Het is 15:02 als RFO 1828 en 6702 voor een Ethanoltrein naar Kijfhoek staat op Dordrecht. Wanneer de 6702 er af gerangeerd is zal de trein zijn weg vervolgen naar Bad Bentheim en verder naar Duitsland.
Hoy se cumplen 2 años del robo con violencia de mi equipo fotográfico. He vuelto por primera vez desde entonces al lugar, y he repetido la última foto que hice con mi anterior cámara, es esta imagen, a mi querida Tula . Su delicado estado de salud me hace suponer que no habrá más recuerdos de esta fecha con ella. Por ello, he sacado fuerzas, he vencido el pánico que aún tengo, y recordar que ella me acompañó en tan triste suceso.

Spring has arrived with an explosion of blossom here in the centre of England and it's pure joy. Here we are, on a regular morning dog walk but everything looked so different today ! I hope you like my picture.

Este monumental jarrón, hecho a molde en tres partes, y hoy día incompleto, se encuentra situado en la Escalera de Honor. Antiguamente formaba pareja con otro de características similares, con Nº Inv. 36, también colocado en otro tramo de la misma escalera. Hasta la última guía del Museo Cerralbo, hecha por Pilar de Navascués y Cristina Conde de Beroldingen en el año 2000, donde se le considera italiano, este jarrón siempre aparecía como anónimo en las anteriores catalogaciones de Juan Cabré y Consuelo Sanz-Pastor.
