▶ The Stone Mountain Trail is a paved 19-mile hiker/biker trail connecting downtown Atlanta, Georgia (to the west) with Stone Mountain Park (to the east). There are several segments of the 'trail,' such as here, where it shares city sidewalks.

PATH Foundation, a non-profit founded in 1991. This year (2021), PATH celebrates its 30th anniversary, having built over 300 miles of trails throughout the state of Georgia.

This is a rework of an image uploaded 2/6/21, hence "#6B." I think it is a better crop, and a somewhat better job of post processing. And it is the product of a multi image focus stack, so it should reward viewing full screen or larger (type "L" on you keyboard, and then click your cursor on the image twice to enlarge it twice more).
The rain had stopped and the storm moved away. The clouds were still very dark but the sun reappeared giving some wonderful light. Kos Town.
Mykonos is a Greek island, part of the Cyclades, lying between Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. The island has an area of 85.5 square kilometres (33.0 sq mi). There are 10,134 inhabitants according to the 2011 census, most of whom live in the largest town, Mykonos, which lies on the west coast. The town is also known as Chora (i.e. the Town in Greek, following the common practice in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town).
Mykonos's nickname is "The Island of the Winds" due to the very strong winds that usually blow on the island.
Evening in the Oklahoma Panhandle—May 25th last year near Slapout. Just a couple miles off the highway, and the endless combinations of gentle hills, scattered copses, windmills, barns and other quaintnesses just melt into buttery deliciousness under sunset painted debris clouds.

Traversant la cité des ducs, l'Erdre fait partie intégrante du paysage nantais. François Ier disait d'elle que c'est « la plus belle rivière de France ». D'abord sauvage, l'Erdre s'ouvre à la navigation à partir de Nort sur Erdre. Site classé, sa vallée révèle ensuite les parcs entourant châteaux et belles demeures, avant de gagner le cœur de Nantes. Sur les rives en remontant plus au nord, on peut apercevoir quelques « folies nantaises », des demeures de plaisance d’anciens armateurs et négociants. Les vastes jardins qui les entourent témoignent de leurs voyages. À partir de 1926 ont lieu des travaux de comblements du cours inférieur de l’Erdre et de certains bras de la Loire. L’Erdre semble s’arrêter net devant la préfecture ! Elle est en fait détournée vers le tunnel Saint-Félix, pour passer sous les cours St Pierre et St André et réapparaître 800 mètres plus loin au pied du lieu unique.
Crossing the city of the dukes, the Erdre is an integral part of the Nantes landscape. François Ier said of her that it is "the most beautiful river in France". First wild, the Erdre opens up to navigation from Nort sur Erdre. Listed site, its valley then reveals the parks surrounding castles and beautiful residences, before reaching the heart of Nantes. On the banks, going further north, you can see a few "Nantes follies", pleasure houses of former shipowners and traders. The vast gardens which surround them bear witness to their travels. From 1926, work was carried out to fill the lower course of the Erdre and certain branches of the Loire. The Erdre seems to stop dead in front of the prefecture! It is in fact diverted towards the Saint-Félix tunnel, to pass under the cours St Pierre and St André and reappear 800 meters further on at the foot of the unique place.

Nadat het de hele ochtend grijs en bewolkt was trok rond de middag de lucht open, er kwam steeds meer zon.
Vanuit Bad Bentheim was de 193 623 met bijnaam "sharky" gepland met een lege kolentrein naar de Maasvlakte.
Reden genoeg om even naar Hengelo te rijden.
Maar ook hier werd het spannend met de zon, een flinke wolk dreige roet in het eten te gooien.
Als trein 44332 passeert de 193 623, met aan de haak een lange sleep grijze Ermewa Eanos'sen in een heerlijk zonnetje om zijn weg te vervolgen naar de Maasvlakte.
Beyond the neon of a million signs, under the reflected glow of the sodium lights, above the teeming sidewalks, she waits... and watches...
Aloha kākou! Hello everyone!
I was taken out on a shopping spree for my rez-day at the CYBER Faire (open from March 4 to March 24, 2021), and OMG it was so much fun. I've been wanting to improve my cyber/sci fi/futuristic outfit/costume situation for a long time, and have had a lot of disappointment at sci-fi/cyber type events (just bad luck?) but the current cyber faire is just FULL of goodies that I couldn't pass up.
Let's start off with the G647 Control BOM/applier bodysuit from GRAVES Fetish and Cyberpunk. GRAVES has long been creating some of the sleekest and sexiest body suits for your sci-fi/cyberpunk needs, and as the capabilities and appearance of clothing in SL has improved, so has theirs. Yes, it's still appliers, but now BOM is added, and they make good use of materials -- texture and specular layers. I'm a big fan of BOM here: it's supposed to be skin-tight, but the texture adds just enough pop that it looks right. The big advantage of BOM, of course, is low complexity impact, and a really big favourite is its ability to be worn on any body shape. I love the Lara Petite chest, but the available clothing items for it are still few. No problem with BOM! Control includes an unrigged mesh collar, because you just need that three-dimensionality there. I added an older pair of G322 combat boots that I had on hand -- also from GRAVES -- to go with the outfit. The gloves are included as part of the Control BOM.
And OMG, I just love the new Synchronicity helmet from .:Bison:.. It's sold in individual base colours, and also available in a fatpack. Several lighting effects and colours are available. The helmet visor has an opaque/transparent option, and a lovely little animation (with gestures and sound effects) for opening/closing the helmet. You have GOT to pick up a demo of this, but be warned -- to pick up a demo is to doom yourself to purchasing at least one. I found it really easy to fit over the Dext hair from A&Y Bunker CyberShop
One last goodie -- the beautiful Celestial tattoo from .::Nefekalum::... This one didn't come from CYBER Faire, but rather from the March edition of We Love Role Play. But wow it fits in so well, I love the whole look together here. It's busy, but I feel like it just makes my face pop (in a good way!)
I hope you get the chance to get out and enjoy the Faire. There's more to come that I have to share with you! This is definitely my favourite Cyber event!

Although a 365 begins, much without a plan, it feels right. I need a project, on which to concentrate, that brings a creative spark to my daily routine. I'm unsure how it will develop, as the year progresses. However, Stroodle is most happy to have a daily walk, this I know for sure.

After leaving Sea Ranch, I was headed to my friends Bob and Jan for about a week, to explore Santa Barba and surrounding areas. I couldn't have asked for better hosts and what a beautiful area. Along the way I stopped at the Klamath Lake area and was lucky to capture some Clark's Grebes doing their mating rush. Bob took me to a place where we were able to photograph Bluebirds and I'm jumping ahead a bit by including a California Quail taken at Point Reyes. More from Point Reyes to come later. My last two stops on
the journey, after Santa Barba, were Point Reyes and Elkhorn Slough. I was nearing the end and getting homesick.
