Shortly after departing the yard at Tuckerton, NRFF charges through Leesport with a short 10 car train of all boxcars.
Na het passeren van HHPI bij Gambach was het nog wachten op één trein richting het zuiden, de Nothegger van OBB.
Op 20 juli 2021 reed de trein opvallend genoeg niet met een Vectron maar mocht de 1016 025 de trein van tractie voorzien. Op de foto komt het geheel langs Gambach als trein 42171 uit Kassel naar Sommacompagna.

Niet lang na EccoRail kwam de reden waarvoor we Mainbergheim waren gereden, namelijk een Vectron van RTI. Ook deze had ik nog niet eerder voor mijn lens gehad en kon op deze manier afgevinkt worden.
De RTI 383 112 was op 24 februari 2021 onderweg met een keteltrein uit Ludwigshafen. Als trein 48983 is het geheel onderweg naar Passau.

Die Reste vom Zugunglück bei Lössen am 27.01.2021.
Ein 61 jähriger Traktorfahrer übersah den Zug am Bahnübergang. Er wurde schwer verletzt. Der 53 jährige Lokführer kam mit leichten Verletzungen davon.
Die Lok und die ersten Wagen entgleisten. Die V100 stand quer zum Gleis!
Am 31. war die Lok bereits wieder auf ihre Beine gestellt.
Der restliche Zug wurde abgefahren.
Hier wartet die MEG V100 und ein Wagen auf ihren Abtransport.
Laut Zeitungsbericht entstand ein Sachschaden von über 2 Millionen Euro.

Op 11 maart 2021 trok er een zuidwesterstorm over Nederland. Door de harde wind was er ten oosten van Maarsbergen een boom op de bovenleiding gevallen en reed als resultaat treinstel 8638 dat als IC3123 van Schiphol naar Nijmegen onderweg was rond 8 uur in de ochtend zijn stroomafnemer stuk. Een stremming was het gevolg. Loc 6422 werd opgetrommeld om het treinstel af te slepen, maar het wegslepen liet nog uren op zich wachten.
Kort voor drie uur in de midddag zette het convooi zich in beweging als trein 99970 naar Veenendaal-De Klomp, vanwaar treinstel 8638 op eigen kracht, met behulp van de tweede stroomafnemer, verder kon rijden. De 6422 zou via de Valleilijn naar Amsterdam Westhaven doorrijden.
Voor het zover was kwam de trein al snel tot stilstand, omdat er een wissel bij De Haar in storing lag. Een geluk bij een ongeluk, want dat betekende dat ik rustig een aantal foto's nemen kon, en zelfs werd getrakteerd op een kort zongaatje. Woudenberg, 11 maart 2021
Regno Unito, Rutland, Normanton, Primavera 2021
Normanton è un villaggio del Regno Unito sulla sponda orientale del bacino idrico di Rutland, nella contea di Rutland. Il nome del villaggio significa "fattoria/insediamento dei vichinghi norvegesi".
Negli anni '70 gran parte della zona fu inondata dalla costruzione del bacino idrico di Rutland. La chiesa di San Matteo è un edificio di interesse storico culturale di II grado, costruito in stile classico. Fu costruita tra il 1826 e il 1911. L'edificio era una volta la cappella privata per la tenuta di Normanton, ma fu sconsacrato nel 1970 e doveva essere demolita come parte della costruzione del serbatoio, poiché il suo pavimento sarebbe stato al di sotto del livello dell’acqua previsto. A seguito di una protesta pubblica, la metà inferiore è stata riempita di pietra e macerie e un cappuccio di cemento è stato costruito appena sotto il livello delle finestre. Attorno alla chiesa fu costruito un terrapieno che la lasciò un elemento di spicco sul bordo dell'acqua. La struttura in precedenza ospitava un museo che sullla storia di Rutland Water ed è ora utilizzata come sede per matrimoni civili e concerti.
Normanton is a village on the eastern shore of Rutland Water in the county of Rutland, United Kingdom. The village's name means 'farm/settlement of the Norwegian Vikings'.
In the 1970s much of the parish was flooded by the construction of the Rutland Water reservoir. St Matthew's Church is a Grade II listed building, built in classical style. It was built between 1826 and 1911. The building was once the private chapel for the Normanton Estate, but it was de-consecrated in 1970, and was to have been demolished as part of the reservoir construction, as its floor was below the proposed water level. Following a public outcry, the lower half was filled with stone and rubble, and a concrete cap constructed just below the level of the windows. An embankment was built around the church leaving it a prominent feature on the water's edge. The structure formerly housed a museum recording the history of Rutland Water and is now used as a venue for civil weddings and concerts.
