BOTTIGLIA, BICCHIERE ED OLIVA.
Per il tema "Macro Mondays" di oggi devo presentare almeno due temi affrontati nell'anno 2021.
Ho scelto due elementi che ben si sposano tra loro, il vetro e la bottiglia....forse in questo caso la bottiglia è troppo mignon ma risponde perfettamente ai requisiti di MM....l'oliva è stata inserita per testimoniare la corretezza delle dimensioni macro....poi me la sono anche mangiata !!!!

BOTTLE, GLASS AND OLIVE.
For today's "Macro Mondays" theme I have to present at least two themes addressed in the year 2021.
I have chosen two elements that blend well with each other, the glass and the bottle .... perhaps in this case the bottle is too mignon but perfectly meets MM's requirements .... the olive has been inserted to testify to the correctness macro size .... then I also ate the olive !!

At the beginning of the 12th century, on the hill which rises above the village, stood a small church built in the Romanian style. In its place was built in 1443 a much larger church, Gothic style, fortified with a wall.
At the end of the 16th / beginning of the 17th century, after the Saxon sieges of 1612, the complex was surrounded by another fortification wall, completed with five bastions and watchtowers.
The greatest devastation on the locality took place in 1658, a few years after the construction of the fortress. After the unsuccessful campaign waged against Poland by Rakoczi Gyorgy II, prince of Transylvania, the defenseless country was attacked by the unified armies of the Tatars, the Pas de Silistra, the voivode of Muntenia Mihnea lll (Mihail Radu) and the voivode of Moldavia Gheorghe Ghica. The campaign of punishment was organized by the Sultan, who wanted to punish the prince for the campaign for which he had not asked his permission. Crossing the Buzau Pass, they gathered in the Tara Barsei depression, and among the first besieged strongholds was the llieni Fortress. The armies that arrived here on August 20 conquered the fortress after a siege that lasted 5 days. The armies devastated the whole territory of Transylvania. More than 500 people have fallen in the fighting, and the Crimean Tatars have taken 800 prisoners into captivity.
The original wall, once built between the 15th and 16th centuries, has remained, but the church was demolished, and again rebuilt between 1782-1785.

Le Chardonneret jaune (Spinus tristis, anciennement Carduelis tristis), appelé aussi « canari sauvage », est une espèce présente en Amérique du Nord ainsi qu'aux Bahamas et dans les îles Turques et Caïques. Il appartient à la famille des pinsons. Oiseau migrateur, il est présent du sud du Canada à la Caroline du Nord pendant la saison de reproduction et de la frontière canadienne au Mexique pendant l'hiver. Il a pour caractéristique de muer complètement et de présenter un dimorphisme sexuel : le mâle arbore un plumage jaune vif pendant l'été et vert olive pendant l'hiver, alors que la femelle a un plumage jaune brunâtre terne qui devient plus éclatant en été. I'm trying to create a new habit to go to the botanical garden near my house every Wednesday morning for an hour between 7-8am before work. Here's a shot from today's visit.
The geology of the area in which the Green Bridge of Wales is located is composed of a very thick layer of Carboniferous Limestone, including a certain amount of chert.

Erosion has occurred over time as storm winds have battered the coast, pebbles have been dashed against the rocks, sand particles have worn away the surface, and chemical erosion has dissolved the limestone.
The weakest parts of the cliff are the first to be worn away, usually the folds and small faults that are present in the rocks.
This has resulted over many millennia in the creation of many unusual landforms.
In the case of the Green Bridge of Wales, erosion has taken place on both sides of a small headland, caves have been formed which extended further and further until they met, forming the arch that can be seen today.
The bridge is about 24 m (80 ft) high with a span of more than 20 m (66 ft). Its outer edge rests on a more durable rock pedestal and its upper surface is clad in vegetation.
The Green Bridge lost a considerable amount of rock to damage during Storm Ophelia in October 2017.
Taken about a month ago during our early June workshop. We felt the sunset opportunity would be really cool at this location we only share with clients and it did not disappoint!

Frankey Street Art is giving the city little often unremarkable surprises. Every week a photo with one of his recent works appears in the supplement to the newspaper Het Parool. A great opportunity to take a closer look at his work. Sometimes you have to search to find it and sometimes it is already gone.

Street Art Frankey
Street Art Frankey (pseudonym of Frank de Ruwe) is a Dutch artist who wants to positively influence the street scene with relatively small and often inconspicuous works of art.
He grew up in Nijmegen, father was an inventor at Philips Netherlands. He studied at Delft University of Technology (Industrial design). In daily life director of and working for design collective Natwerk. In Amsterdam, many of his works in the street art category can be found on buildings, streets and bridges, often in addition to existing building elements. He himself about his work;
"I want to push boundaries. Art has no boundaries, that's why I like it so much."
In 2019, a special page has been dedicated to his art in Het Parool for a number of years; first he took care of that section himself, later he had to leave that work to others because of busy work. A little later his work Eberhard van der Laan appeared above the entrance of Paradiso.
One of the works that inspired him is the Boomzagertje in the Leidsebosje, a work by an as yet unknown artist.

In the year 2015/2016 I called this the most successful installation of the 4th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival. That year located on the Herengracht and Leidsegracht. This 10th edition on the Torontobrug and seen from the Weesperzijde in Amsterdam Oost. The first time Amsterdam Oost has an installation for this event.

Amsterdam Light Festival is an annual light art festival in Amsterdam. Artists, architects and (light) designers from all over the world bring their light artworks and installations alive during the festival every winter.
Edition #10 is from 2 December 2021 till 22 Jaunuary 2022. It’s the 10th anniversary of the festival. This special edition is a repeat of the most popular light artworks of the past 10 years. A few new artworks and some artworks have been placed at a different location than the original, so they can be experienced as new again.
Seven gigantic butterflies have landed on the surface of the canal. The butterflies not only rise and fall with the movement of the water caused by passing boats, but their wings glow blue against the dark night.
