Présence inusité au Québec
Les pélicans d'Amérique sont de très grands oiseaux blancs, on ne trouve pas d'espèce semblable dans toute l'Amérique du Nord. Les primaires et les secondaires externes sont noires, mais ce caractère est surtout visible en vol lorsqu'ils ont les ailes déployées. En plumage nuptial, le sommet du crâne et la nuque sont recouverts d'une crête jaune pâle. Le bec et la poche gulaire sont couleur chair ou jaune. On remarque une légère protubérance sur le milieu de la mandibule supérieure. Les pattes varient du jaune pâle à l'orange éclatant. Après la ponte, la plaque fibreuse du bec tombe, le crête redevient grisâtre et la couleur des palmes reprend une teinte plus terne. Les mâles sont légèrement plus grands que les femelles. Les juvéniles se distinguent à peine des adultes : ils ont un plumage blanc plus terne, une vague nuance brunâtre sur la tête, le cou et le dessus des ailes.

The Gardar cliff is composed of dark basalt columns that some say resemble a pyramid or organ pipes.
The last four days brought clear weather here at Hamburg and I had the opportunity to spend them outside and to take some photographs. The picture shows the factory buildings of "Ingredion" company at Hamburg, seen from "Black bridge" (Schwarze Brücke).
MOLÍ FONDO
Molí Fondo es una antigua fábrica de papel. Su historia está unida a la vida del pueblo de Sant Joan les Fonts. El origen de la fábrica se remonta al año 1723. La transformación más importante fue en el año 1841, cuando Pere Capdevila compró el molino. El hizo una gran reforma a la fábrica e introdujo la máquina de papel continuo para la producción industrial.
El Molí Fondo es un importante ejemplo del patrimonio industrial de la Garrotxa.
