Am 17. Dezember 2021 hatte der DGS 42869 von Ludwigshafen BASF nach Wels Vfb einige Stunden Verspätung. Daher war es möglich, die Leistung bei Tageslicht zu dokumentieren, denn regulär verkehrt diese in den Nachtstunden. Interessant an diesem Zug ist, dass hier noch regelmäßig die Loks der Baureihe 151 von Lokomotion zum Einsatz kommen. Der Einsatz der ehemaligen Bundesbahn-Sechsachser ist selten geworden, sie zeigen sich schadanfällig und sind wenig beliebt beim Personal. An besagtem Tag erwartete ich den gut ausgelasteten und von der 151 018 geführten KLV-Zug an der ehemaligen Blockstelle Hilperting.
On December 17, 2021, DGS 42869 from Ludwigshafen BASF to Wels Vfb was delayed by several hours. Therefore, it was possible to document the service in daylight, because regularly this runs in the night hours. What is interesting about this train is that the class 151 locomotives from Lokomotion are still regularly used here. The operation of the former Bundesbahn six-axle locomotives has become rare, they are prone to damage and are not very popular with the personnel. On the day in question, I awaited the well-used intermodal train led by 151 018 at the former Hilperting block station.

It was the reason why I got into storm photography. It has taken years of practice to capture it without a lightning trigger. Patients is the Key. But when it happens you have to be ready. It doesn't stay around for very long.
Had the equipment locked and stocked. Knew the storm was coming and wala... It took til August 2021 to do but finally some incredibly good and wicked lightning!

Na BayernBahn duurde het niet lang voordat de volgende ex-DB oudgedienden in beeld kwamen. De Press 140 008 en 140 038 waren in de avond van 22 juli 2021 onderweg met een keteltrein uit Nürnberg naar Wilhemshafen Ölweiche.
Op de foto komt trein 95539 langs de fotografen bij Thüngersheim onderweg richting het noorden.

Ils poussent tous les ans sur un petit carré dans la réserve naturelle des Barails (ex parc floral), leur nombre varie entre 10 et 20, j'ai pris ces photos le 7 février, je suis revenu trois jours après pour faire d'autres photos et à ma grande surprise il n'y avait plus que trois pousses et piétinés de surcroit, et de la terre un peu partout.!
Au début j'ai cru que c'était les Sangliers, et bien non ils ont été arrachés avec leurs bulbes avec un outil par une personne très amoureuse de la nature, très bien élevée et respectueuse du bien commun, pensant sans doute qu'ils seront mieux chez elle que dans un parc public ouvert à tous....c'est plus que navrant...!

They grow every year on a small square in the Barails nature reserve (formerly floral park), their number varies between 10 and 20, I took these photos on February 7, I came back three days later to take more photos and to my surprise there were only three shoots left and more trampled, and dirt all over the place.!
At first I thought it was the Boars, and well no they were pulled up with their bulbs with a tool by a person very in love with nature, very well brought up and respectful of the common good, probably thinking that they will be better off at home than in a public park open to all .... it's more than heartbreaking ...!

Na zdjęciu klasyczna jednostka EN57, w relacji Częstochowa - Łódź Kaliska, tuż po minięciu ciepłowni w Piotrkowie udaje się w kierunku p.o. Jarosty. Zaśnieżony tor, widoczny na pierwszym planie to przedłużenie bocznicy ciepłowni, które prowadzi do magazynów szwedzkiej firmy Ikea.

A frosty winter day is ideal for photographing trains. The momentum of the moving unit picks up snowflakes from the ground, creating a beautiful effect of snow blizzard. At this time of year, the photos fall into cold blue colors, which perfectly contrast with the warm colors that identify the POLREGIO railway carrier. The photo shows the classic EN57 unit, on the Częstochowa - Łódź Kaliska route, just after passing the heat plant in Piotrków, it goes towards p.o. Jarosty. The snow-covered track, visible in the foreground, is an extension of the heating plant siding, which leads to the warehouses of the Swedish company Ikea.

Red Fox
The Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes, is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant wild member of the Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. It is listed as least concern by the IUCN. Its range has increased alongside human expansion, having been introduced to Australia, where it is considered harmful to native mammals and bird populations. Due to its presence in Australia, it is included among the list of the "world's 100 worst invasive species".

This photo is the one I\'ve been planning. I had to do a challenge this week for "LIGHTS IN THE DARK", for my 52 week challenge.. but since it was also taken at ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY - TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS.. *Great Egg Harbor River, Mays Landing, New Jersey, USA.*
So since this photo is so important to me.. & it works for BOTH challenges.. I\'m posting it for both.
This photograph is one of my first real NIGHT photos. & I want to give a huge Thank to Patrick! jocomaflo Who gave me some pointers towards NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY & I used them tonight to capture this image.
Honestly, I was picturing this photo much differently than how it came out. I\'ve never really ventured into \'night photography\'.. or much into messing with the manual settings.. *I want to learn, I\'ll be asking you guys for tips soon!*
But I\'m very happy with how this photo came out!!
This photo is dedicated to my Aunt Diane who passed on February 3rd, 2021..
She was one of my NUMBER ONE fans with my photos. She was so supportive and caring. She was one of the greatest people, that many people have ever met. Her loving and vibrant personality really touched us all.. And I know she\'s looking down on us.. Still smiling. Still laughing. Still proud of us. And I know, nobody will ever forget Aunt DiDi.
She left footprints in our hearts.
ALSO: I have a question.. I'm new to the manual settings LIKE I SAID BEFORE.. & I'm going to be asking for tips.. (you can flickr mail me with any tips on using manual settings on a nikon).
HOWEVER.. I used the tips given for the LOW ISO : I set it to 100.. So how come this photo was taken with an ISO of 25600?!! I'm really confused.
Still happy about how the photo came out, but very confused! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you VERY MUCH!
