Hier endet derzeit noch nur die Linie 1 aber zukünftig werden hier auch die Linien 19 und 49 ihren Endpunkt haben. Die Gleise sind im Vorfeld der Haltestelle dafür bereits vorbereitet, die Verbindungsgleise zwischen den Liniengleisen und der Endhaltestelle fehlen jedoch noch.
Die Linie 1 wird standardmäßig von den neunteiligen Urbos 3 und von dreiteiligen Tatrazügen befahren. Aber auch die ebenfalls neunteiligen Combinos verirren sich regelmäßig, vor allem am Wochenende, auf die Linie 1.

Sinds 15 oktober 2021 rijdt TrainCharterServices de GreenCityTrip nachttrein vanuit Breda via Amsterdam en Arnhem naar een aantal verschillende bestemmingen in Europa. Stamlocomotieven zijn de 189 105 en 189 115 geleased van MRCE wat dus zorgt voor een niet zo'n interessante tractie voor de veel interessantere sleep slaaprijtuigen. Hierdoor had ik de trein nog niet op de foto gezet, maar daar kwam 3 februari verandering in toen door werkzaamheden in Duitsland de trein niet via Emmerich ons land verliet maar via Bad Bentheim. Doordat er dan makkelijk een locwissel kan plaatsvinden aan de grensovergang besloot TCS voor de verandering eens een Nèz-Cassé voor de trein te zetten op het Nederlandse deel wat ik natuurlijk niet zomaar aan mij voorbij kon laten gaan. Zodoende ging ik na mijn schooldag niet direct naar huis maar werd via een tussenstop in Leidschendam naar Amsterdam getrokken. Alhoewel de trein in Nederland ontzettend veel tussenstops heeft, is Amsterdam Centraal een van de weinige goede opties omdat de trein vrij lang is en dus niet overal gunstig tot stilstand wordt gebracht. Ditzelfde idee hadden heel wat andere fotografen ook en dus stond ik donderdagavond 3 februari opeens met een mannetje of twintig te Amsterdam Centraal de GreenCityTrip op te wachten.
Het is 20:30 als Ryan de TCS 102001 met aan de haak GreenCityTrip 13491 perfect stil heeft gezet op spoor 4 te Amsterdam Centraal, waarna er een paar minuten lang vrolijk op los werd gefotografeerd. Niet veel later vertrok het geheel via Utrecht, Arnhem en Deventer Goederen naar Bad Bentheim waar na een locwissel het geheel verder ging naar de eindbestemming Praha Hlavní Nádraží!

In juli 2021 raakt delen van de Eifelbahn (Hürth-Kalscheuren - Ehrang) zwaar beschadigd door extreme regenval en daar bij komende overstromingen.
In Gerolstein raakte hierdoor materieel opgesloten, waaronder rijtuigen van de AKE Rheingold, KAF railbus en DB Regio Lint-treinstellen.
De Eifelquerbahn (Gerolstein - Andernach) bood uitkomst om dit gestrande materieel af te voeren. Deze lijn is al 10 jaar buitendienst en de daar voorgaande jaren was de lijn ook al in sterk verval. Enkele maanden geleden is men in rap tempo begonnen de vrij te snoeien van begroeiing en de technische staat de controleren. In januari 2022 werd de Eifelquerbahn voor de overbrengingen, maar vanwege de technische staat geldt er een max snelheid van 10 km/u.
Vulkan-Eifel-Bahn (VEB) V60 1140 (363 140) met een Rheingold restauratierijtuig, een Rheingold panoramarijtuig en een Rheingold zitrijtug en achterop V60 1184 (363 184) van Gerolstein naar Kaisersesch, door Darscheid.

I mentioned to Di over the weekend that we hadn't seen any of the Periwinkle Flowers yet this year. We usually see them by the end of June. Today, when I went to check the letterbox I spoted that the first two have bloomed and there are lots of buds.

"In no uncertain terms, the 911 Carrera 4 represented one of the most significant steps forward for the company technically, for many years." - Glen Smale, 'Porsche: The Carrera Dynasty'.
Representing a major step forward in the development of Porsche's perennial 911, the Carrera 4 and Carrera 2 ('Type 964' in factory parlance) had been launched in 1989, the former marking the first time that four-wheel drive had been seen on a series-production model. Porsche had experimented with four-wheel drive on the 959 supercar, and many of the lessons learned from the latter influenced the design of the new Carreras' chassis and suspension. Face-lifted but retaining that familiar shape, the newcomers had been given a more extensive work-over mechanically, 87% of parts being claimed as entirely new. The pair shared the same 3.6-litre, 250bhp, air-cooled flat-six engine, while power-assisted steering (another 911 'first'), anti-lock brakes and a five-speed manual transmission were standard on both, with the Tiptronic auto 'box a Carrera 2-only option. Its new engine enabled the 964 to out-perform the old '3.2' yet still meet the latest emissions regulations, top speed increasing to 260km/h with 100km/h attainable in 5.4 seconds.
This first generation Carrera 4 Coupé was supplied new in Madrid, Spain, to the company of the current vendor and has covered a mere 28,000 kilometres from new. A copy of the purchase invoice (from new) confirms the original colour scheme as 'Verde Cantabria' or 'Forest Green' metallic over Beige leather interior. Fitted with factory air conditioning, the car was delivered new in April 1990. Mr. Cobian, who ordered the car new but unfortunately passed away in 1993 since when the car has hardly been used for the next couple of years, now driven by Mrs Cobian. Only from 2000 onwards the car seems to have been taken to the road more actively again with only 17.260 kms recorded (service details on file). Since Mrs. Cobian used the car in the city centre, some small scratches from parking the Carrera 4 made them decide to respray the car, in its original colour of course. The last service was carried out in April this year at 27.864 kms. It is believed only two 'Forest Green' Carrera 4's were delivered new in Spain at the time.
Still on its original Spanish plates M-9201-KY and offered from the family company that bought it new, this low mileage Carrera 4 comes with its original Spanish registration documents, copy of the original sales invoice, a history file of service records and invoices plus the original pouch, manuals, tools, two keys and even the original key card.
