Old photos from my last summer in China. I miss my grandparents so much.
Lijiang River, Guilin - it's beautiful. I was on a trip around South China with my brother and mother.
149 seconds on the banks of Loch Achray, before sunrise on a very still and misty autumn morning.
Our landscape is changing so quickly now... Summer is just a faint memory.
Whilst autumn is a great time to be outdoors... there's only a few weeks left before we are plunged into the perpetual darkness of winter, and pretty soon I'll be back to being a weekend only photographer :-(
Time to make the most of it!

The Oriental Lily opens a 6 petal bloom that can spread up to 20cm in diameter.
The height of the Oriental Lily can range between 3 to 5 feet.
Oriental Lilies tend to flower outside, in mid-season (July/August).
They are a long lasting and highly scented variety.
Sometimes, they just miss a petal and show us more!
Thank you for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)

Pompeii Amphitheatre ~ Mount Vesuvius, a volcano near the Bay of Naples in Italy, is hundreds of thousands of years old and has erupted more than 50 times. Its most famous eruption took place in the year 79 A.D., when the volcano buried the ancient Roman city of Pompeii under a thick carpet of volcanic ash, superheated poisoned gas and pulverized rock. The lava swallowed everything and everyone in its path, killing over 2,000 people.
Dating from 80 BC, the massive Amphitheater at the far end of Pompeii seated 12,000 spectators. It is the oldest surviving Roman amphitheater. My favorite band, Pink Floyd, recorded a film there in 1971. It's notable for having no spectators. During "One Of These Days", drummer Nick Mason lost a drumstick and kept playing with one hand while retrieving another without missing a beat. :o)

But anyone don't know what Kanpei wanted to-
Today's story and sketch "by me" we are at the Playa Beautimus Retirement
Resort RV of Zinca Gofish, who is away on vacation to her home planet
"Lippo the Blue Moon" visiting her grand kids.
Above you see JB who is responding to a call about the second missing mailman in two weeks. When he sees the small DNA puddle, next to the
mail satchel, he will carefully get behind the Laser Security Tiki you see
to the right in this sketch, and disarm it before he collects the satchel of undelivered penny savers and a goo sample for DNA testing.
If Zinca had been home today she would have received the recall notice
on her Security Tiki model 480. And warning not to under any circumstance turn on the 480 Laser Security Tiki.

On this Memorial Day, a tribute to our service men and women who died for our country and democracy. Kudos!
Loch Tay is truly an amazing place.
Thanks to my wife who waited for me patiently for hours while I took tons of shots here. Love you dear!

Nagsasa Cove is a 45 minute boat ride from the shores of Pundaquit, Zambales. Aetas are the most common locals of the place and they are very friendly and accommodating especially if you need a guide in getting around the corners of Nagsasa Cove (trekking and hiking) and other nearby islands.
Yes...I miss this cove.
Never forget that while we enjoy our daily pleasures, there
are others who have endured and may still be enduring the
agonies of pain, deprivation and imprisonment.
The empty places at the table represent Americans still
missing from each of the five branches of the military.
The table is round to show our everlasting concern for our
missing men and women.
The tablecloth is white symbolizing the purity of their
intentions to respond to their Country's call to arms.
The single red rose in the vase signifies the blood they may
have shed in sacrifice. The rose also reminds us of the
family and friends of our missing comrades who keep faith
while awaiting their return.
The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued
determination to account for our missing.
The slice of lemon on the plate reminds us of their bitter
fate.
The salt sprinkled on the plate reminds us of the countless
fallen tears of families as they wait.
The glass is inverted; they cannot toast with us at this
time.
The chair is empty, They are NOT here.
The candle is reminiscent of the light of hope that lives in
our hearts to illuminate their way home to open arms of a
grateful Nation.
Americans should never forget the men and women who answered
our Nations call to duty.
