Five years today, our handsome and funny Leo crossed the Rainbow Bridge.... he died of mouth cancer...

Leo was Bob's litter brother...
having seven cats at one time, sadly we have only two, Bob and Lola (both 17)... all the others died with from different forms of cancer...
They all left us way too soon...
My second visit to this old place....I took in a few more details, and realized that something pretty important seemed to be missing....
Can you get the full picture if some of the pieces are missing?

No access for at least a week. It was predicted today but fully cloudy and more snow.
This was taken almost 2 weeks ago that I had access. Behind this island is St. Lawrence River, starting to close down with spreading ice.
Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, southern Iceland which is framed by a black sand beach that was ranked in 1991 as one of the ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches in the world. Legend says that the stacks originated when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock. (Wikipedia)
They are all down snuggled together hibernating in the tunnels!! I look forward to when they come to the top!!

Today the first day of summer and the longest day of the year, all the spring wildflowers are now long gone, but their seeds remain and with a little rain and sun, maybe next year, they will return.
