My string gave me a fish shape. But who wants a mean fish??
today was a concerted, and conscious effort to not use a grid, (or plan)...just to do!!
This was an odd shape - I didn't realise it only had 7 points until after I started doing one - then I remembered what Erin wrote on her Blogg - it was different than other templates. It was interesting to say the least - not really sure how I was going to tackle it - I ended up doing 3 very different looking Zendalas.
thanks for looking.

This month's tangle is brought to us by Jane MacKugler, CZT
Even though I do love Henna Drum, I found it difficult to come up with anything other than a vine - I will have to play with it some more :) thanks for looking
I don't think I really got these patterns quite right ... I always, ck. out Leeann's work on Monday's because she is almost always the 1st to post her challenge pieces. I usually do a fast sketch of each pattern to go from , but last nite, I challenged myself to commit them to memory & sinse my P.C. is upstairs & my work space is downstairs ... that really was a challenge in it's self for me, ... If I head to the kitchen for a drink of water & stop on the way to do something else, I foget all about it & half an hr. later I think " Wow, I'm really thirsty! " :) ... Soooo it may be all wrong for the challenge , but I whipped it out fast & here it is anyway ... wanted to keep it super simple, because I'm working on alot of pieces at the same time! Done on 8 1/2 x 11 black cardstock with Galaxy " milky white " marker, prisma white pencil & colored pencils & white gel pen. :)
Swap: "Zentangle/Doodle Mailart Round 2 " made for XxInternalChaos.
The assignment was to make envelopes covered in a free-form doodle. This is the back of one of them.
An envelope I did for affirmations at a workshop I was running. We all did one.
This was truely free-form zentangle. No pencils and rubbers, so I am especially pleased with it!
Been really busy the last couple of days. I have finished all my postcards for the swap (15 plus 1 extra for good luck) - we were to use no more than 3 tangles. I loved doing these and the size is just right.
I hope you like them :)
thank you for your visit - your comments are most welcome and very much appreciated :)
