6x6 sq. tile ... All done with pens from Kuretake, ...Milliniums, Pastel chalk writers, Writers, Caliigraphy- colors & metallics. Experimental piece ... a little " out of the box " for me but is'nt that what it's all about ... trying & learning with each new piece we do? :)

This is an Indyrella Variation called by my students, Sharla-Rella. IndyRella is an official Tangle by Zentangle Founders.

A couple of patterns that came to me whilst on the phone yesterday. Gella reminds me of little stick men and Zoose reminds me of those top hats out of Dr Suess' children's books. enjoy! :))

first colour use. Took it slow! lol

I made some time to do a piece for this week's Diva Challenge. This week we are to only use 2 tangles - they are Pea-nuckle and Well. At first I thought it a very strange combination and didn't see how these two tangles would gel. I decided to do 'Well' not so rigid and without it being in a grid, although I love grid patterns and I have a liking for Well too. As for 'Pea-nuckle', I don't remember the last time I have used it - it's not a favourite of mine as I can't seem to make it flow naturally. So between the rigid Pea-nuckle and the gridless Well, I think it came together and I am very happy with the outcome.

Thanks for your visit - have a lovely week and Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends celebrating the day. :)

Oh, I fiddled around and photo edited some too. It's fun seeing what I come up with - of course nothing beats the original in black and white. Let me know what you think :)

And after all that, I'm having problems uploading pics on my Blog so I will link it via Flickr. Oh well!

Hi everyone ... another example of my coloring pages packet ... I may do this one again, not really thrilled with the colors ... 8 1/2 x11 colored with Derwent colour soft pencils, General Kimberly's watercolor pencils ( used dry) & prisma colored pencils :)

what I worked on today

thanks for looking :)

A zentangle pattern I created. Hope you enjoy playing around with it! >^..^<

Print out of an original fine liner zentangle doodle art design, coloured with water soluble felt tip pens.

I always make negatives, sometimes they turn out with nicer colors than other times, but I thought this one was kind of nice. :)

Sorry, bit blue-ish picture

thanks for your time :)

I was looking at Zentangle patterns online and started playing with some - and this is what I got.

Second in a series of three patterns inspired by photos on www.circlemakers.org of crop circles found in Wiltshire England. This would look much cooler if I could draw round circles, although it would be interesting to see this technique in a random shape.

Christmas Greeting Card(s) for 2012

the right hand page are some sketches in prep. for an ipad drawing for sketch club app. the left hand page is a twsbi fountain pen drawing

This was done on lavendar cardstock, 8 1/2 x 11 with a" Milkyway white" Galaxy marker & Prisma " Violet " colored pencil, I usually use so many colors I can't keep track of them, so this was different for me in that respect ... think I may have needed an intervention here, I just could'nt stop! :) ...........THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVELY COMMENTS :)
