Completed this Dare using yellow card stock. It was drawn in black using Microns .01 & .005. The sepia was added using a feature on my Iphoto application. Thanks for viewing. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.

More about how I created this Zendala on my blog www.studio-ml.blogspot.com/

Pre-printed mandala from a colouring book for children, filled with my new addiction - the "native" pattern from the Am. Museum of Natural History.

I call this pattern Swiros (as in: swirls & rounding).

This is my second time doing one of the dares organised by Erin over at www.thebrightowl.com

I wanted to do all linework, so here it is! thanks for looking :)

#InkTober

My daily tangle :)

Dreamweaver stencil on a Zendala tile. Sakura Micron 01, Tombow markers, Dylusions ink.

Used tangles: Crescent Moon, Reticulated, Tipple, Static, BtlJoos.

Finished reading "Big Magic" by E.Gilbert! So inspired I had to tangle the empty space on the page :)

Tangle: Swiros (as in: swirls & rounding).

A Zendala based on a template from children's colouring book (Kaleidoscope Zendalas). Not yet cut out and mounted on card stock :)

Tangles: Strircles, Striping, Hibred, Crescent Moon, Golvin, Onamato, Emingle (triangle var), and line work with sparks. Drawn in brown micron 01. Template is by Julie Evans, CZT, and is a free download which can be found at :http://kalacreative.com/julieszenbliss/freedownloads/

Mini-Zendalas on 3' circles punched out of watercolour paper - preparing for a demonstration this Sunday. It will be a pancake brunch, hence circles :)

Made it this afternoon. Find the Fleur de Lis :D

Using a pre-strung Zendala and the tangle Mooka with peaks of the tangle 'Nzeppel.

Template by Erin Koetz Olson. Tangles: Zander, Purk, Flux, Fescu, and Angel Fish I'm in a "zendala" mood lately.

This Zendala Dare is drawn on white card stock with Micron .01 and .005 Pens. The tangles used are Verve, and Hibred.

8.5 x 11 zia on watercolor paper using micron to draw, dye inks, copics markers and prismapencil to color. The center 5" tile uses one of Erin's zendala templates.

I am loving my protractor!!

My mandala class is going well. This one I drew from scratch without a template.

Somehow forgot to put this on my blog entry at first. It's there now, lol. 5" zendala tile, colored with prismapencils and ink. All the tangles used are on my blog: tanglewithlinda.wordpress.com

I was inspired by María Pérez-Tovar Czt who taught her class Zendala’s in black with an offset string of what could be the tangle Spoken. Maria, was in turn inspired by work by 鄧美華 (Damy Teng). (If someone can tag Damy I would appreciate it.)

I decided to do a smaller Zendala in black and white.

A Zendala for a friend going through a serious professional change - a Zendala, being a circle, has no end and no beginning; or you could say, the end is the new beginning :)

Lesson 2 of my mandala drawing lessons: draw from one centre curved line, swirling from centre to borderline... and back, from borderline to centre... My student coloured with colourpencil, I used my beloved Microns... the result: voila!

My Mandala class is really going well. I had to draw a second one for lesson 2. I used my new copic markers.

I'm really happy with this one - like the grey and lime together :)

thanks for looking - your comments are always welcome

Pre-strung tan tile

I finished this one and challenged others to give it a name, tell me what you see!! :)

I started the center with a rubber stamp ( the part I checkered) and built out from there.
