I find myself worrying lately more than usual. No income except unemployment and tight at that...... I hear myself "worried" more often than I like. A dear friend said to me... "why don't you paint a picture of "WORRY"... see what it looks like. And so I have started...
it is a progressing painting that now is making me laugh at my worries that drip down and color my world....

Secret #20 - I am a self confessed worrier. My mind never stops, I'm sure if you watched me long enough you would see the cogs turning.
I worry all the time, eg. did I turn all the lights off in the house, do I have enough tea bags just incase I have visitors, have I locked the car (even though I would have checked it before leaving it), is the house all locked up, my mind never stops.
Today I have been doing alot of worrying, which has meant I have been biting my nails, which I never do unless I'm really worried. I'm sure it will all blow over in the end. These things are sent to make us stronger as they say.

I don't know which I worry about more - snakes in the summer or leeches in the winter. Both can kill you - I once got a bad case of infected skin cells (cellulitis) from a leech.
A hungry leech is very responsive to light and mechanical stimuli. It tends to change position frequently, and explore by head movement and body waving. It also assumes an alert posture, extending to full length and remaining motionless. This is thought to maximise the function of the sensory structures in the skin. In response to disturbances by an approaching host, the leech will begin 'inchworm crawling', continuing in a trial and error way until the anterior sucker touches the host and attaches. Ref. We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that she is someone today. ~Stacia Tauscher
Don't worry, be happy
Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
But when you worry
You make it double
Don't worry, be happy......
Don't worry don't do it, be happy
Put a smile on your face
Don't bring everybody down like this
Don't worry, it will soon past
Whatever it is
Don't worry, be happy

The Mayans believed that there are worry people. You should whisper your worries to these dolls, and then place them under your pillow before going to sleep The dolls are thought to worry in your place, thereby permitting you to sleep peacefully. By morning they will have taken your worries away!
