The Matchbox Macro Collection.
I collected 63 tiny objects and put them all in a matchbox. This is one of them.
I have a little box with Guatemalan Worry Dolls inside. You can also get them in bags. You tell them all your troubles and worries before you go to sleep, and put them under your pillow.

Harley - foster kitten at 7 weeks
UPDATE: I just got word from a lovely volunteer at the shelter that she will be able to watch my foster cats while I'm away! I'm so grateful they will be in a loving environment away from the hustle and bustle of the shelter. I know momma cat will be MUCH happier! Now I won't worry about them.

My foster kittens and momma cat went to the shelter this week to be spayed/neutered and to get their microchips. I picked them up yesterday. They seem a bit traumatized by the experience. Momma cat (Hope) looks considerably thinner in only two days. The kittens are a bit more aggressive than when they left. They were fairly gentle with hands but now they are biting down hard. I'm spending more time with them to hopefully get them back to where we were before they left. Harley is still a very snuggly boy and I am enjoying cuddling him again.
We go to the beach on Saturday and my foster kitties will be going back to the shelter for adoption. I will miss them so much. I am very attached and will be worried about them being back in the stressful environment of the shelter. I can only hope they will be adopted quickly.

This was my father's worry stone that he found in the fields. It fits in the small part of the palm, where you can rub your thumb and it relaxes the worries. He must've had a lot of worries, because where he rubbed is smooth (on the back) I had a teacher friend of mine who does wire wrap jewelry make it into a piece of jewelry.

For who doesn't know Luth, she is a powerful demon that has the curse of grow old and die and every time he born in a different sex... he is Nox's husband and they gave birth to the Moirae sisters (Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos) and to another demon, Shaitan (he will soon be here in the Crypt ^^)
These things are called kompoloi and you can do all sorts of things with them when you have time to kill. They are supposed to relax you as well.
Every day is a good day if you use this tiny doll! Put this doll under your pillow during the day, and let her think all the worrying thoughts for you. Than, every night, before sleeping, put her in the jar...and have a good sleep! ^___^
