Is it just me or is it hot in here? Well, I'm the only one here so it could be me and it could be hot. We are having an incidence of Schrodinger's Hotness. Where both I or the room may be the source of the hotness....and it's me...I'm on fire...literally on fire.
This is why I don't go out on sunny days. This body is not built for heat or outdoors or moving or people. This is the body of a cave-dwelling recluse. Maybe not cave, I don't know enough riddles to keep visitors entertained. And they might steal my precious too.
Log cabin? No, a house of wood with someone so flammable? I don't think that would end well. And the big bad wolf could probably blow it down too. No, I need something stoney. Like a castle. A castle with a moat. I like a good moat. Just have to remember to keep the drawbridge down for the postie.

Going through some interesting times right now. Worrying does nothing - for better or worse. Well... it could make you go nuts, I suppose. I would rather eat my cashews, thanks.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your journey through my brain, haha. I spoke with my dad earlier, and he said what is so true - as long as you have your health, nothing else matters in the long run. No one can take your intelligence, your experiences, your happiness. You just work with what you get and do the best you can.
This shot is from another adventure I had this weekend. I want B to get better at hiking. It is right up his alley (he has energy for days), he just thinks he needs to break world records doing it, haha. Work in progress, but we had a phenomenal time. This weather sure doesn't hurt. It is January...right? :-)

After the 2020/2021 Covid-19-lockdown, I met up with Rod (formerly a flickr member) several times during the summer of 2021, one of which was to check out the Oshawa Autofest held at Lakeview Park.
Rod parked his car near one of the main entrance points to Lakeview Park and we simply captured the incoming participants without having to worry about crowds. This is the best, we were photographing the classic/ vintage/ converted cars at an autoshow yet while they were "in the wild" (i.e. not parked at the event). We also didn't need to fight for space with other people!
Can worry make you live longer?

They don't work hard to make their living, because God take care of them. So why worried?

I was very taken with the Lyme Hall bench worry worm, but having taken shots, I decided to leave for someone else to find.
Yes please don't worry about me, I'm not looking for sympathy either. I have been really very unwell for the most part of this last week, It's familiar although a bit worse than I've had before, not CV19, but a hefty spike of another sort in my ME condition not helped when I passed a Kidney stone Moinday night although at least the pain of that was shorter than usual. Last night and today I've been alternating between shivering uncontrollable and sweating like a Politician caught with their fingers in the till. Well not a UK Tory one of course, they're allowed to get away with anything.
Anyway I have no idea how iong this is going to last, but at least it's dull so my increased light sensitivity isn't as bad as if it was sunny. Once through this I expect my health to finally improve greatly although nothing is certain, one day at a time but dressing is out of the question. At least I'm also able to take care of myself, with care, so don't have to rely on anyone else. Look after yourselves xx

Every time I go to Tomahawk I pass this abandoned farm on E, promising myself that I will go back when there is good light. Well, I did and overall I'm pleased with the image although I should have probably walked into that field a bit. I worry that I'll trespass and make someone mad. Not something I'm anxious to do.
Oh don't worry....He can figure it out.....He's an Expert : )
