We can see the beautiful cherry blossoms in the part of downtown Vancouver.

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom for a very short period of time.

But we don't have to worry to miss them because they have only buds in the most of other area.

We may have lots of chances to see Cherry blossoms for a while.

It's hard to miss.

While real life in 2015 took a larger part of my time and, especially towards the end, my creative energy a lot of good work I did accomplish came via play as Nasim in BFF3. The entire experience was a good time - even if I lost - but getting into a headspace and allowing him to form a more organic character than the one I originally pitched became a true highlight of my year. My willingness to let him change and become the person he was meant to be really stuck with me and I can only feel pride at where 'we' ended up and the journey to get there.

Letting Nasim grow outside of a rigid idea of what I thought he was meant to be is a lesson I want to apply to myself in 2016. Instead of the perpetual worry about how & why I'm not who I always felt I was supposed to be I should just take a breathe, step back & let my life grow into what it actually is trying to become all on its own.

Happy New year!! May it bring all that we need why treating us even better than the last one

No worries, this little flame burning in the Svartkällsskogens nature reserve won't grow into a wildfire. It is a beautiful specimen of the yellow stagshorn (Calocera viscosa) jelly fungus.

The scientific name stems in the Greek "kalos" and "keras" meaning "beatuiful" and "horn" and the Latin "viscosus" meaning "sticky".

Worries are put aside in a place like this, if only for a short while.

No Worries

After a long week of meetings at work and still negotiating with that client I've spoken about the past couple of weeks; I decided I needed to not only have a little fun to get my mind off of all that but at the same time be able to relax and enjoy myself.

My girlfriends and I ended up hitting an all-girls local lounge to just sit back and relax, maybe talk about our weeks, maybe gossip a bit and enjoy a good relaxing time out for once. No loud music this time from the club and no drunks trying to get out numbers at a bar. It was a very stress-free and cozy place. I kicked up my feet on the chair, leaned back, and enjoyed the night.

I had sunk into the chair as we became one. I listened to my girlfriends for hours before they asked me if I was OK. I was just enjoying being in their company and listening, taking it all in, and escaping the tribulations of everyday life and work. It was nice to just sit back and not have to worry about a single thing.

Nada de preocupaciones

Después de una larga semana de juntas en el trabajo y las negociaciones con el cliente del que he hablado en las últimas dos semanas; Decidí que no sola necesitaba divertirme un poco para dejar de pensar en todo eso, sino al mismo tiempo poder relajarme y disfrutar la vida.

Mis amigas y yo terminamos yendo a un salón local solo para chicas para simplemente sentarnos y relajarnos, tal vez hablar sobre nuestras semanas, tal vez cotillear un poco y disfrutar de un buen momento de relajación por una vez. No había música alta esta vez como en el club y no había borrachos tratando de conseguir nuestros números como en el bar. Era un lugar muy relajado y acogedor. Levanté los pies a la silla, me recliné y disfruté de la noche.

Me había hundido en la silla como si nos vieramos convertidos en uno. Escuché a mis amigas durante horas antes de que me preguntaran si estaba bien. Simplemente disfrutaba estar en su compañía y escuchar, asimilarlo todo y escapar de las tribulaciones de la vida y el trabajo cotidianos. Fue agradable simplemente sentarme y no tener que preocuparme de nada.

Not sure if this guy is one of the homeless at Venice Beach as they have cleaned that up a lot. But, he certainly looks like he has some worries or something playing on his mind. Best viewed at the largest size.

The dark warm nights are perfect for the Bat enthusiast. Some would say their methods of communication are a little aggressive and full of self importance. The same can be said for the Light Painter but only if approached in a arrogant manner. Can't we just share?

There is peace in the embrace of nature, where the sky and the sea meet in harmony. Let the calmness of the sea wash away our worries as we gaze at the endless horizon.

Dogs seem to worry when we get in the water. They pace back and forth, bark, or jump in after us. This one followed the two girls quite a distance off shore and swam nervously around them until they finally went back to the beach. We were tempted to join in on such a hot day but we were on the bikes and had not thought to bring bathing suits.

Three bulls worry / about the herbicides sprayed / to make the grass look green / and about the asbestos / spilled from the plates / covering the roof / but falling. // However, these bulls will meet their butcher / before they will notice damage.

What about the kittens?!

Don't worry, I made it down to the farm to visit our rescue family yesterday before my dad arrived. And I didn't lose the photos this time. I'll have to sort through them at some point, but I do have photos to post.

Tuesday, the Seventeenth of May:

A worrying symptom has reared its head this week. She's been bedbound for a month and now the patient is no longer able to speak. She tries to utter sounds but the grip of the illness is strong and the patient is weak on the bed in a cold sweat, like a corpse... but she'll live yet. When I find the cure, I can surely promise she'll laugh again as she did on our wedding day; when we danced and laughed the world away. Even now, I can hear her say:

Don't let me go, my darling. Hold me safely 'til the morning. Promise when the lights are fading, you'll save me.
