Three bulls worry / about the herbicides sprayed / to make the grass look green / and about the asbestos / spilled from the plates / covering the roof / but falling. // However, these bulls will meet their butcher / before they will notice damage.
When you come upon deer in the woods, you usually see one of two things. Either you see the back end of the deer as they run away, or you may see them standing and staring at you just before they show you their backsides and run away.
Very occasionally, it is possible to come upon a deer which either hasn't sensed you yet, or just isn't worried about you. That's what happened here. This buck (I think) glanced at me, and went back to eating. It was still doing that when I moved on.
It's a little early for Santa...but Zoey can't read the calendar... yet .
Here she was napping in Kev's bed.
Thanks to all of you. Sorry I haven't been around as
much lately.

Just got home from Jamaica last night, so I'll be uploading some more shots as I get things settled a bit. Here's a night shot from Ocho Rios.
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?"

The only bright spot on the premises of this old abandoned farm in eastern Washington. Single RAW image.
Added the National Museum of the Amercian Indian (foreground). The National Gallery of Art East and West Buildings are in the background on the right.
I've made more progress on the National Mall in three days using this scale than I have on my larger version in months. Fewer parts to worry about, much quicker to get to an approximation of a building.
But then again, the scale gets really wacked, like the Native American Veterans Memorial is massive, but I couldn't find anything smaller to represent the shape.
You shrug...and grin...and say, "Well, that's LEGO."

نگرانت هستم، روزهایی است که خبری از بودنت ندارم و این ابر همیشه بارانیِ بیخیال به دنبال بادی به باز گوشی مشغول و نمیداند من به دریائی نیازمندم
I was very taken with the Lyme Hall bench worry worm, but having taken shots, I decided to leave for someone else to find.

"Hakuna matata" means "no worries" in Swahili, a primary language in East Africa. From January of 1969 until December of 1971 I taught in Kenya and Swahili was my second language. Little did I know that years later Disney would produce the film "Lion King" which would be full of Swahili words and phrases.
So many mirrors around and I don't even need to look in them to sense that there is a stocking issue. And indeed my worries are confirmed: the stocking top on the right peeks out an inch lower from under my nightie than the one on the left. I'm thinking about it but there is no choice really: this needs to be fixed right away. Happy days!
Worry dolls are a Guatemalan tradition where a Mayan princess, Ixmucane, received a gift from the Sun god that would solve any problem a human could worry about. Modern day, these little fictitious problem solvers are given to children to help relieve them of their worries.
For Macro Mondays theme, fictitious.
HMM!

Hey everyone... I'm still unable to find time to Flickr aside from quick peeks here and there... I would be lying if I promise that I can visit your streams... the fact is, I can't. Not yet...
So much things happening at work at the moment... There's a lot of uncertainties... And there are other more important things taking priority at this stage... Flickr can always wait...
But just to ensure I don't totally get disconnected from Flickr... I'll endeavor to upload 1 photo per week...
Have a great rest of the week.......

Baby I see this world has made you sad
Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say
But baby I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey
Why worry, there should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now
Baby when I get down I turn to you
And you make sense of what I do
I know it isn't hard to say
But baby just when this world seems mean and cold
Our love comes shining red and gold
And all the rest is by the way
Why worry, there should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?

"our thumbs get tougher with every spark. we are spilling spit of warmhearted 3AM worries, we are wrapped up, my ribcage safely tucked under but my senses are analyzing every breath, blink, and buzz. inner corners of my stopwatch mind are seeping out lovely burned images of doe eyes and silky hair, accompanied by some sort of scent that calms every nerve and every heartbeat, yet our minds pulse and cobwebs are strung between love aches in the late hours of night"
Yes please don't worry about me, I'm not looking for sympathy either. I have been really very unwell for the most part of this last week, It's familiar although a bit worse than I've had before, not CV19, but a hefty spike of another sort in my ME condition not helped when I passed a Kidney stone Moinday night although at least the pain of that was shorter than usual. Last night and today I've been alternating between shivering uncontrollable and sweating like a Politician caught with their fingers in the till. Well not a UK Tory one of course, they're allowed to get away with anything.
Anyway I have no idea how iong this is going to last, but at least it's dull so my increased light sensitivity isn't as bad as if it was sunny. Once through this I expect my health to finally improve greatly although nothing is certain, one day at a time but dressing is out of the question. At least I'm also able to take care of myself, with care, so don't have to rely on anyone else. Look after yourselves xx
