Doing street photography in The Philippines was amazing. Having a camera around your neck in the rural provinces draws a lot of attention and oftentime, an invitation to take a picture, capturing a moment, one with laughter, humor, and curiosity.

Sunderland has a remarkable history of innovation in shipbuilding and marine engineering. From the development of turret ships in the 1890s and the production of Doxford opposed piston engines after the First World War through to the designs for Liberty ships in the 1940s and SD14s in the 1960s. Sunderland has much to be proud of.
Tyne & Wear Archives cares for tens of thousands of photographs in its shipbuilding collections. Most of these focus on the ships – in particular their construction, launch and sea trials. This set looks to redress the balance and to celebrate the work of the men and women who have played such a vital part in the region’s history. The images show the human side of this great story, with many relating to the world famous shipbuilding and engineering firm William Doxford & Sons Ltd.
The Archives has produced a short blog to accompany these images.

As the frost crystals on my window melt in the warmth of the rising sun, the light, passing through the now wet glass, projects these interesting, elongated reflections / shadows,
Cheers and thanks for coming by.
Now seeing a few windows of our neighbours with their Christmas ornaments and lights on their windows and balconies.
Just a windowframe, nothing more.
Shot with a Nikon D200, processed in Aperture using a new self created preset.

I saw this idea on Michael's castlebuild -> www.flickr.com/photos/54395270@N08/41974732890/in/datepos... and changed it a bit so there is no gap between the round tiles and the inner frame of the window.
To lean or not to lean, that is the question? Is it me leaning, or the post leaning, the ground sloping, or a surfiet of amber nectar?
Considering what I married was in that window on the opposite side of this Brand New trailer I found and considering that we are looking at real life bona fide no doubts what so ever photo of an actual living breathing alien in the window on the opposite side of this Brand New Trailer I found, I married an Alien. A lot of things are starting to make since now. Hmmmm.

The Magic of the Boxes!
Another batch of photos from Totton, as usually seems to happen a video timed out before it would fully load, so I will try that again in the morning, getting a bit fed up with that happening, not what I pay the subscription for!
Thanks to all the people who commented on the last lot of pictures, and thanks to Grace for taking these pictures at Totton!
At the moment I have a couple more batches of pics waiting to go on, with shots from Lyndhurst, some classic cars, a few more of the Historic Winchester series and various other things, so I hope there will be some variety!
The background here is from the Abbey Grounds in Winchester, which has quite an interesting history, involving Kings, Queens, a Saint and a Chef among others, which hopefully will be included in the next batch of pictures, I don't want to put too many on at once!
I know a lot of the photos are a little similar, but I coud not decide which ones to leave out! 😃
My neighbours cat Slippers, that loves to sit on my front window ledge, mainly because it's about as close as he can get to the bird feeders hanging in the rose bush (Which is not close enough!)
The only window in an abandoned greenhouse is covered with plastic. So is the roof. I found it odd that there's some sort of curtain on this useless window. But the textures are awesome. Martin's Market Greenhouse on highway 7, Ontario.
