A couple of decorative carvings surviving in a window arch of the keep of Longtown Castle. Perhaps they signify the castle chapel was within, or the lord's chamber.

Looking in through a side window. There's still a windowframe in evidence: one of the few fragments of wood remaining.

A spiders web in the frame of a hide window.

It's the bridal expo season! As the actual wedding season comes to an abrupt halt, venues start hosting bridal party expos, where couples can enquire with suppliers as well as view the venues in preparation for their special day.

 

As the recommended supplier, DJ Solutions participated in the old Q Station bridal expo in Manly today. Not only was the view fantastic, the old creepy (and haunted) buildings proved to be a spectacular location for a future shoot.

 

In this particular shot, I loved the soft wooden frame and the texture of the tainted glass, a result of years of neglect.

No longer useful for housing and crumbling.

zombies weren't the only distraction in Fremont that day

We toured the sights of Mauritius by taxi one day, taking in the Tea Factory, Grand Bassin and Black Valley Gorge.

Only buy them if they smell.

This hand made Christmas card was a bit fiddly to do.

The window frame is die cut and the backed with a hand coloured and stamped backing card.

The little cats are die cut and hand coloured.

This image has been added to a square of Matt gold card....andused as a topper on a 6x6 card blank.

The sentiment is die cut from red metallic card.

I think it was worth the effort
