The second batch of photos from the Totton disco in March, I split the pics into two small batches rather than flood the site with one large batch.
A big Thank You to all those wonderful people out there in Flickr for the lovely comments on the previous pictures, those comments are much appreciated, I do try to comment on as may photos as I can, but occasionally I do not get notifications that new ones have been posted, my aplogies if I have missed some!
Thanks to Grace for taking the photos at Totton!
This is a new species of carpenter ant for me. It does not have a common name other than carpenter ant. It was quite large. I found it crawling around the outside frame of a window on my house.
Carpenter Ant (Camponotus decipiens)

An extra pic to keep the running order right, as I had problems uploading the Mythago video last night, but finally managed to get it on this morning.
Pete asked if I could find something brighter to wear when commenting on a previous photo, will this do Pete? 😄

Had lovely blue skies and mighty puffy dramatic clouds and great light here yesterday. Lots of wind blowing the tree leaf outer cases and little flowers all around.
Grabbed this shot of some window reflections while moving around campus.
I thought this would fit the frame within a frame theme for 100x.
Which has been a hard theme for me.
Captured with iPhone edited in snapseed.
'a frame of mind' is described as the way someone feels at a particular time. what frame of mind are you in now?
Having fun on the Magic Boxes at Totton.
The last of the photos from Totton in October, plus a few birdies and things. Thanks to Grace and Linda for taking the Totton Pics and a big thank you to all the people who commented on the previous pictures, those comments are much appreciated. Some new photos from Lyndhurst to come soon.
I came across this old stone farmhouse, (or what was left of it), while driving the other day & wondered what memories were made looking out of this window.

Open up your house that has no views by placing a window view on your wall.
Adding a window framed image to your wall can create a sense of depth, interest, light and openness to a room, especially a room where there are not many ..... or no windows.
Enjoy the moon by night in your office or living room.
This moon image is also available without the window frame and titled: Moon over Sunset Clouds
The Fine Art America logo will not show on prints purchased.
FlickrFriday challenge: #HDR
What a good window should do... frame the view... juxtaposition of the built environment with the fluid swirls of the clouds...
While working on my blog I looked up from computer and saw the most awesome site ...the warm weather had caused icicles above the kitchen window outside ..the sun behind it made it look like a mystery scene ...turning camera on its side to get full length of icicles ... straight from disk no treatment of any form ....mistakes are pretty huh?????

Until today, this has been the view from my window at work - whatever you do, please don't tell David Cameron or Boy George Osborne
..and inside too - pipework for the underfloor heating system was covered in snow (windows yet to be fitted). Another new build in progress at Scarista, Isle of Harris. Great views westward, across the sand and machair towards the Atlantic.
Looks more impressive when viewed LARGE

This was a "drive by shooting"! Down the road from me there is an old house and directly across the street from it is this tiny stone bulding, I.m not sure what it is ( a spring house, maybe?).Anyway, it has this cute little window frame, wih no window, and when I drove by the other day I saw this pretty pot of pansies sitting on the window frame. It was such a pretty picture, the contrast between the stone and the flowers, so I stopped in the middle of the road, rolled down the car window and took a picture. Good thing there was no one behind me!!
