We arrived in Bangkok yesterday and this morning I wandered around the grounds of our hotel, taking a few shots. The building opposite (GE's Bangkok offices, I think) had these wonderful reflections in the window.
A couple of minutes after taking this I was confronted by security guards declaring that no photos were allowed... I walked around the block and tried to take some more pictures and - yes, you've guessed it - the same thing happened again.
From the My Thai - a cocktail of shots set.
The second batch of photos from the Totton disco in March, I split the pics into two small batches rather than flood the site with one large batch.
A big Thank You to all those wonderful people out there in Flickr for the lovely comments on the previous pictures, those comments are much appreciated, I do try to comment on as may photos as I can, but occasionally I do not get notifications that new ones have been posted, my aplogies if I have missed some!
Thanks to Grace for taking the photos at Totton!
This is what I saw in the front window of the larger yellow car I could not identify. Too bad I did not check that out.
This is a new species of carpenter ant for me. It does not have a common name other than carpenter ant. It was quite large. I found it crawling around the outside frame of a window on my house.

Description
My photograph of a serene beach scene is framed by an off white window frame with multiple panes, offering viewers a vista of rolling waves reaching a sandy shore. The ocean's turquoise hues contrast with the pastel pink and blue of the sky early morning, while coastal homes perch on the cliff in the background.
Adding a window framed image to your wall can create a sense of depth, interest, light and openness to a room, especially a room where there are not many ..... or no windows.
For my Window Art images such as this one, I would recommend a Canvas or Metal Print. Should you wish the color of the frame altered to match your decor, please email me.

Had lovely blue skies and mighty puffy dramatic clouds and great light here yesterday. Lots of wind blowing the tree leaf outer cases and little flowers all around.
Grabbed this shot of some window reflections while moving around campus.
I thought this would fit the frame within a frame theme for 100x.
Which has been a hard theme for me.

Venice is full of mask shops selling all manner of masks. The V mask crops up from time to time (V for Venice?) and I've got a bit of a soft spot for that mask, but sadly this shop didn't have any in the window :-(
'a frame of mind' is described as the way someone feels at a particular time. what frame of mind are you in now?

What a good window should do... frame the view... juxtaposition of the built environment with the fluid swirls of the clouds...

This scene of pretty waves in paradise beyond draped curtains would brighten up any home or office. Imagine this on your wall as a Canvas or Metal Print and pretend you live by the beach. Open up your house that has no views by placing a window view on your wall.
Adding a window framed image to your wall can create a sense of depth, light and openness to a room, especially a room where there are not many, or no windows. This will look just like a window with a view on your wall.
Enjoy a pretty beach scene whilst relaxing in your living room or kitchen. Or, what a relaxing view for your office.
This scene of Pretty Waves in Paradise is also available without the window frame and curtains.
I captured this pretty beach scene on 20th May 2016 at Palm Beach, Sydney, Australia.
The sea was tranquil and crystal clear with many beautiful colors and pretty small waves were lapping at the seashore upon the colorful wet sand. There was a beautiful rich blue sky with some cumulus clouds floating by. It was just like paradise. May is our last month of Autumn, but our weather has been like summer or spring. Warm and beautiful.

This was a "drive by shooting"! Down the road from me there is an old house and directly across the street from it is this tiny stone bulding, I.m not sure what it is ( a spring house, maybe?).Anyway, it has this cute little window frame, wih no window, and when I drove by the other day I saw this pretty pot of pansies sitting on the window frame. It was such a pretty picture, the contrast between the stone and the flowers, so I stopped in the middle of the road, rolled down the car window and took a picture. Good thing there was no one behind me!!
I came across this old stone farmhouse, (or what was left of it), while driving the other day & wondered what memories were made looking out of this window.
While working on my blog I looked up from computer and saw the most awesome site ...the warm weather had caused icicles above the kitchen window outside ..the sun behind it made it look like a mystery scene ...turning camera on its side to get full length of icicles ... straight from disk no treatment of any form ....mistakes are pretty huh?????
