My tribute to the men who lost their lives on "The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
I can only imagine the seas that day, after being out to photograph these waves at Silver Islet.
I was at Wind Point in Racine, Wisconsin on May 18, 2012 and was taking photos when I got this one of a wave crashing on rocks on the shore.
We were in a moderate gale so the winds were whipping around like crazy and the seas were swelling. It was really, really windy so there was just one other person out there taking pics.
except in BC we call our winter winds, "storms," although the winds are in excess of 120 KPH today and we are promised this for the next three days.
PS All the little black spots are rocks and sticks.
Late afternoon draws the tradies out of their utes for a small wave before dinner off the National Park at Noosa Heads on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Australia.
I took this just at the right moment. I took the photo in Oceanside, CA let me know what you think, like always make sure to fave and follow. I love your support!!!
