Kitesurfen is snel: op 12oktober 2010 werd de magische grens van (100 km/h) doorbroken door de Fransman Alex Caizergues.

Kitesurfen kan je veilig beoefenen mits je je aan een aantal regels houdt en je verstand gebruikt.

Het is wel een sport waar risico's aan verbonden zijn en het is daarom zeer belangrijk om eerst lessen te volgen.

Storm Sandy has really worked up the ocean in this area - but not as bad as in many previous storms!
