...this is a big wave out to you all my fine flickr friends to say thank you so much for your lovely encouragement on my venture into Lightroom yesterday with my shot. You were so so kind, helpful, supportive, sagacious with your comments - I so appreciate it. I started to respond to some of the comments on the shot and got overwhelmed as I wanted to say so much to each one of you (being Irish, we do not understand the ecconomic use of words ;))that I thought it best to dedicate this wave to you to express my gratitude for your 'wave' of support and kindness :) .

The tuna blaster and spinning the pink(you could not make these up could you ) has allowed a brief entrance again this evening . Big surf this morning - literally the wind changed just before 7 am and i had a quick 10 minutes before running off to get ready for work with the most beautiful waves and light. Getting to know a lot of the surfers/swimmers down there now - see the wee surfer on the far right of the shot ?.
As I may (or may not ;)) have said before Bronte is more of a village/community than Bondi which is like central station and the more you ignore people the cooler you are over there ;). Maybe now is the time to let you guys know how much I am loving it here ;))
A large storm the day before left choppy seas and awesome waves that grew bigger as the day progressed.
Sometimes you just have to remind to yourself that it'll all be oki. Maybe not now..maybe not tommorow but one day. Remind yourself that things have changed for a reason...people change for a reason. You just have to let go and move on. It's going to be hard and you're gonna feel lonely but just hold on. Cause who's to say that tommorow won't be the best day of your life?

Oh wow - a wave of people through my stream today with Explore - I was not prepared, its like you wander off in to the garden and you come back in covered in dirt and all these unexpected guests are in your house and you think - oh I was not prepared for this. So I am taking it now as a bit of a license to continue with my 'Wave Series' (;)) but also as I have not really taken a shot of anything else but waves for the last week or so ;).
Ms. Fiat, after her major open heart surgery, has returned home and is literally firing on all cyclinders ( :)) and I feel like the shoes are back on my feet with her around again. I only had 3 hours sleep last night as was working and then woke up and thought this is the last day of the waves I have to go down there - will post tomorrow ....so fasten your life jackets my fine flickr friends - more waves to come ;)).
I have become pally with a lovely guy down at Bronte who is a 'real' photographer and goes down every morning with his dog Red and also canoes off in the ocean taking shots too(not me I can tell ya ;)). So he was telling me had seen a whale right near the coast the morning before - so my title tonight is in honour of those magnificent creatures and fingers crossed I will be lucky to see one myself very soon.
Thank you all for your lovely comments with the Explore thingey and welcome aboard any new fine flickr friends :)
