Here's another in my Porthcawl series.

I'm reposting this photo so I can let you all know that the weather forecast, if correct, should lead to spectacular waves at Porthcawl tomorrow morning (Monday) and for once I'm going to be able to make it. Winds will be gusting up to 80mph and the almost 10 metre high tide is at 06:03 though dawn is at 07:47, so not perfect, but the chance of getting a sunrise through crashing waves should not be missed. There will be a lot of rain, but I am hopeful for the odd break in the cloud. As always, anybody who does go down there needs to make themselves aware of the dangers of coastal photography during storms, be careful out there!

This is a wave from a Porthcawl storm as it begins to fall back to the sea.

Lively Lake Ontario waves on the east side of Toronto

...this is a big wave out to you all my fine flickr friends to say thank you so much for your lovely encouragement on my venture into Lightroom yesterday with my shot. You were so so kind, helpful, supportive, sagacious with your comments - I so appreciate it. I started to respond to some of the comments on the shot and got overwhelmed as I wanted to say so much to each one of you (being Irish, we do not understand the ecconomic use of words ;))that I thought it best to dedicate this wave to you to express my gratitude for your 'wave' of support and kindness :) .
