Converted from a standard gauge brake van, it has two beds, and kitchen facilities. There is a outdoor roofed patio at one end. Children can sleep in the Tadpole.

An Austin Seven Van in Canada must have been a rare sight in the thirties. Left hand drive too now that would be a barn find to shout about. This is the only LHD Austin Seven Van I have seen evidence of (apart fron the Dixi's).
De Franse Naald van Cleopatra bevindt zich in het centrum van het Place de la Concorde, en behoort oorspronkelijk toe aan de entree van de Luxortempel. Mohamed Ali, de onderkoning die ook Engeland van een obelisk voorzag, gaf deze Naald van Cleopatra aan Parijs in ruil voor een kleine klokkentoren, die in de citadel van Caïro geplaatst zou worden (en niet bleek te werken).
In opdracht van koning Lodewijk Filips van Frankrijk werd de obelisk in 1833 op het Place de la Concorde geplaatst, omgeven door twee door Jacques Hittorff ontworpen fonteinen. Het monument is 22,86 meter hoog en weegt 227 ton. In de obelisk staan hiërogliefen van Farao Ramses II.
The Paris Needle (“L'aiguille de Cléopâtre”) is in the Place de la Concorde. The centre of the Place is occupied by the giant Egyptian obelisk decorated with hieroglyphics exalting the reign of the pharaoh Ramesses II. It once marked the entrance to the Luxor Temple. The ruler of Egypt and Sudan, Muhammad Ali, presented the 3,300-year-old Luxor Obelisk to France in 1826. King Louis-Philippe had it placed in the centre of Place de la Concorde in 1833 near the spot where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette had been guillotined in 1793.
See in Dallas for the City Art Festival this past weekend. THis van is covered in brass pieces (5000) and $15,000 in coins. This art car project was started by Ernie Steingold and is now owned and driven by Hunter Mann. It weighs 10,000 pounds and is street legal. Amazing:)
