BLS 465 008 heads north near Wichtrach with the SO International Freight 46392 conveying a range of new white vans (Citroën) from the Sevel Sud factory at Atessa Val Di Sangro, Italy. The Gefco transporter train from Fossacesia-Torino di Sangro, Italy via the Simplon Tunnel had been worked via Kandersteg and would continue to Basel, being destined for Ghislenghien, Belgium.

This old van seems to be permanently parked next to the street in front of the Spring Street Auto Parts store. It displays a sign on the street side, and I've walked past it lots of times without paying much attention. But this time the odd pattern on the back windows seemed to call for a picture.
SBB Cargo locomotives Class Re 6/6 11656 'Travers' & Re 4/4 11309 roll through Göschenen with a rake of Transwaggon flat carriers loaded with an assortment of Peugeot and Citroen vans heading north from Italy. I had been expecting National Freight 50920 from Chiasso to Basel, Muttenz Yard so I assumed the path and motive power was being used for this movement of vans through Switzerland?
