I know I have often said this, but zebras are my favourite African animal. Whilst you may think that you see them everywhere on the plains of the game parks, sometimes you can go for a few hours without seeing them.
She really needs a name.
Does anyone have this wig? It's from the 2012 edition, tan Person21. I'm in need of one.

The Monument to the Great Fire of London, more commonly known simply as the Monument, is a Doric column in the City of London, near the northern end of London Bridge, that commemorates the Great Fire of London.
It stands at the junction of Monument Street and Fish Street Hill, 202 ft (62 m) tall and 202 ft (62 m) from the spot in Pudding Lane where the Great Fire started on 2 September 1666. Another monument, the Golden Boy of Pye Corner, marks the point near Smithfield where the fire was stopped. Constructed between 1671 and 1677, it was built on the site of St. Margaret's, Fish Street, the first church to be burnt down by the Great Fire.
The Monument comprises a fluted Doric column built of Portland stone topped with a gilded urn of fire. It was designed by Christopher Wren and Robert Hooke. Its height marks its distance from the site of the shop of Thomas Farriner (or Farynor), the king's baker, where the Great Fire began.
The top of the Monument is reached by a narrow winding staircase of 311 steps. A mesh cage was added in the mid-19th century at the top to prevent people jumping off, after six people had committed suicide from the structure between 1788 and 1842.
You may have seen a similar image to this posted yesterday as the Grumpster was standing right next to me as this train was making up time rolling east on the UP Kansas Sub after hitting a slow order near Turkey Creek.

This small bridge is on the west approach to UP's Missouri River bridge at Blair, NE. The track in the foreground is the lead to the Blair Industrial Park.

Close-up candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Once again having to add more contrast than I would like, and some artificial grain, to make a slightly soft image acceptable. I am quite the perfectionist when it comes to sharp focus and my lens has been struggling with fast moving subjects of late. I couldn't let this shot pass me by though, I loved the stark striping on her top and the tangled cable. Enjoy!
UP 2655 rolls east as the first rays of sun light up the morning scene at MP 24.25 on the UP Kansas Sub. This is about as close to first light as you can get. The sun has just risen above the horizon when the train came around the curve.
Try doing this with your Kodachrome 64 speed film...
Caught another UP Tier IV EMD this morning as I heard this train calling the foreman for a track gang just west of here. Got a little glare here and the sun was muted with all the dust and smoke in the air so it isn't as crisp as I would like.
I'm amazed at the growth of the vegetation next to the tracks here. This winter is definitely going to require some work with a chainsaw to get rid of some of these trees. Can't even see the signal now!
