No sooner did the Disney "A Christmas Carol" train leave Old Sacramento, than a train of Union Pacific business cars took its place. UP 4908 (EMD SD70M) is on the point.

In some of the last moments of fall daylight, UP 3985 takes the Twin City Limited Tour train north. This shot was taken just after the train ran a reverse movement out of the UP's South Saint Paul Yard. The train will soon cross over the Mississippi River on the Hoffman Swing Bridge and head for downtown Saint Paul. It will spend the weekend on display there and would depart Tuesday, September 30, 2008. This shot was taken standing in the back of my truck for elevation.

I had a bit of time spare whilst working up at The Lake District, lucky i had my camera with me, so i wondered around the shore at Windermere looking for moments to capture, then i noticed the swans diving for food, after several attempts i managed to capture this.

This photo definitely was inspired by the song Keep Your Head Up - Andy Grammer. Apart from that I had to trespass to get to this building site which was pretty cool. I would like to go back there with my brother, already have another idea and all, but I'm not sure how fast they're building so we'll see how it all turns out.
That's it really. Hope you all have had a great day and as the song clearly says gotta keep your head up! :)
press L, it looks so much better on black.
July 18, 2013;
Today I woke up at 8:30 and replied to a comment on a photo I had on my Facebook and then I went back to sleep and slept again until 10:30.
I literally laid in bed until 12 when Mom got home for her lunch break. Then we went and checked on my aunt and uncle's cat since they are on vacation. Then by the time we go that done it was basically time for her to go back to work. I made that my time to make myself go to the grocery store to get the rest of what was needed for dinner tonight.
After going to the grocery store I stopped at Subway and got an Italian B.M.T. on Honey Oat bread, even though I ate that exact same thing (different bread) last night for dinner. I seriously have a problem!
I didn't do too much after I got home, then at 4:15 I started dinner. We had sticky chicken which consists of your choice of chicken (we like to use boneless skinless chicken breasts) with russian salad dressing, a package of onion soup mix and a cup of apricot preserves. Then it cooks at 400 degrees for an hour. We served it over wild rice with a salad on the side, it was really good!
I decided to go lay on my bed after dinner because I was really full and I ended up sleeping for about 25-30 minutes before waking up and thinking that I needed to take a picture for the day.
I then remembered the bird's nest that I photographed earlier on in this 365 and wondered if there perhaps might be any eggs left in it even after they hatched. Sure enough there was one single on in there! It was the cutest little egg so small i just couldn't resist taking a picture of it!
That was my complete day though, I really am not that exciting.
