This camera works fantastic in program "P" mode for most shots with Auto bracket of three shots.
The tide was to high for a composition to reduce foreground clutter (Unless I had stood chest deep in the water!).

Marine Operations Centre. This building is intended to be an iconic landmark, and has been designed around the style of a traditional lighthouse. It is situated at the inward end of the North Pier to allow the Vessel Traffic Services staff visibility over all three arms of the harbour, as well as the entrance. My dentist appt. for Wed. was postponed, which freed me up to come down to the shore house for a few days and hopefully get out to chase a few birds around with my camera.
Unfortunately the weather hasn't been that great. We haven't seen the sun since Oct. 1st! It's not raining much, but it's grey, grey, grey!
Since the light wasn't that great yesterday, I decided to go to the Cape May County Zoo instead of hitting the nature trails, since I hadn't been there all summer.
It was a nice day......very quiet....just the way I like it!
Since my last visit they've acquired some new Red Kangaroos. Here, their keeper is working with them to get them used to being touched.
The kangaroo on the ground has learned to lay on her back and present her belly for a "pouch check".
Thank heavens for Chickadees!! They are there to greet us, no matter what! Such tough little guys, though they are always only 24 hours away from death if they can't get enough fat stored in their body to last overnight. In certain natural areas of the city, where they are very used to people, these little Black-capped Chickadees will happily fly down to a person's hand - in this case, a fellow birder's hand. The light and colour are rather strange and there is too much graininess thanks to the very poor light conditions, but there was still something I liked about this photo. Taken on 27 October 2015, when I went on a three-hour walk in Fish Creek Park, from Bebo Grove to Shannon Terrace and back, with birding friends.

Seven more chairs from Standen (National Trust).
The house currently has a 1970's theme/exhibition, which will be taken down at the end of October.
Standen always put on a wonderful Christmas display and it will be interesting to see what they do this year.
I had been searching for a Mother, and I have found her in the Catholic Church. Nay, the Church itself is the Mother of the faithful. We stopped off at the National Trust gardens and café - morning drinks, stroll round the garden and grounds and then lunch. It did rain at times but not too much.
