This is the one of the first shots that I took with my new 30 mm Macro lens. I should have placed an object in the photo for reference. This track is about the size of a quarter and has toe prints. I'm pretty sure that it's a fox, and both red fox and gray fox are in this area of South Carolina. I'm starting a new collection of animal track photos, and this is the first addition to the collection.
I'd love your opinion.
This was actually just shot in passing out my car window - not a lot of planning for this week's shot! These tracks are near my house and are in use (now, after many years of sitting idle), though mostly only at night. I've always liked how they go between the trees and kind of disappear into nowhere. There are actually people in the photo I didn't see until I was processing it, they're way back there!
Post-sunrise photo of various construction miscellany associated with the Clipsal 500 race track. The sky had a fantastic purplish hue which sadly vanished once daylight hit.
Finding something interesting to photograph in my soul-less cookie cutter neighbourhood is often a challenge. Which makes it that much sweeter when you do stumble upon something. Sadly, these tracks are just another sign of more land being cleared away for more banal housing to come.
Super Richoflex TLR on Velvia 100. Why I haven't shot more with this camera, I have no idea. I LOVE IT.
August 31,2021. Using a little star gazing program I pinpointed exactly where the sun was going to rise. Mars and Mercury are also seen below the horizon. Near Oakdale, California.
These abandoned train tracks in Topsfield, MA have not been used in over thirty years, yet still make in interesting photo.
