Right next to CN Tower. One of the major train depot in Toronto. A bit too much tracks in the pix though, I think. However, love the contrasting colors of the train, the inspector and the rest of the picture.
This photo was taken late in the afternoon. I liked the shadows on the lines and that someone had left a footprint in the center of the tracks. The footprint is the only indicator of direction someone was going in.
We bet on number 9 :(. The best shot of the day, wasn't really feeling the other photos. This was at Caulder Race Track in Miramar, Florida.
The new unload track for the Fox Head Brewery has been laid, on the Waukesha County Gandy Dancers model railroad club layout. It's on top of foam, so I glued it down, aligning it with a 3' steel rule. No track nails needed here, either, since I had several WSOR paperweights to hold it down...

The bamboo construction is part of the Folkestone triennial art festival. The abandoned tracks led to the railway station at the harbours edge.
(in progress, i will step back from it for some days and then work on details)

a composition of 16 paintings (33,5 x 19,5 cm each) on wooden planks
the whole arrangement takes up a wall space of about 90 x 145 cm
painted film stills from the movie that i shot it from the train
the movie is like a moving painting
in this arrangement of paintings i try to capture that motion again, as if you were watching a movie
made for the festival of brown, ecomuseu, montalegre, portugal
here you can see previous work that's related to this piece, it was exhibited in april and may in gallery 'atelier open', amsterdam

Taken at Lansdowne SkyTrain station. I was awfully lazy and decided to take the SkyTrain one station down to Aberdeen.
Numerous dust devil tracks can be seen on top of the ejecta of an unnamed crater in Syria Planum. Image information: VIS instrument. Latitude -8.6N, Longitude 257.6E. 18 meter/pixel resolution. Note: this THEMIS visual image has not been radiometrically nor geometrically calibrated for this preliminary release. An empirical correction has been performed to remove instrumental effects. A linear shift has been applied in the cross-track and down-track direction to approximate spacecraft and planetary motion. Fully calibrated and geometrically projected images will be released through the Planetary Data System in accordance with Project policies at a later time.
