The foreshore track near my place.

We had two days of blue skies and sunny weather, however, on the last day of our weekend in the Sauerland, the weather had changed overnight and it was misty and snowing.....

The going was tough.

The man in action is a cross-country skier.

( I added a bit more drama, but I'm sure you sense the atmosphere....)

i think i'm in need of a sensor clean

Making Tracks. Taken on the coastal Path between Weybourne and Sheringham, Norfolk, England.

Pavilion / Lillooet area, BC.

Midnight - Moonlight - Long Exposure - 1:46AM

The train tracks were illuminated by the headlights of a passing rail-truck. (a pick-up truck fitted with rail-wheels)

Snow has not yet blanketed these railroad tracks but cold winter air has browned all of the trackside vegetation..

Moose or caribou. One or the other. But, I didn't take the time to get close enough to determine which.

My daughter and I drove out to see a pioneer cemetery west of here (in Oregon, finding gravestones with dates in the early 1800s is very old, since Oregon was primarily settled in the 1850s). As we returned to the car, she took out her cell phone for shots of the railroad tracks. i had the 24-70 along, and decided that the sky made it worth shooting, nevermind the long straight expanse of track!

Empty railroad tracks across Croatia. I remember that on this day we had visited the home of a woman who had lived through the war with Serbia and had some chilling stories to tell. A very eye-opening experience!

“Snow isn’t just pretty. It also cleanses our world and our senses, not just of the soot and grime of a mining town, but also of a kind of weary familiarity, a taken-for-granted quality to which our eyes are all too susceptible.”...John Burnside

In the early morning hours, a bird traveled down our the street. Soon afterwards my husband found himself following the delicate tracks. It's always good to have family members point out things you might have missed. ;)

...Though Nowhereville is still always Somewhereville.

Railroad crossing (Canadian Pacific/Soo Line) along a gravel road near the farm.

It was a hazy day, we were in the midst of experiencing a lot of smoke from the unfortunate fires that Canada was experiencing 😥 (Thoughts still with them)

This is another shot looking up at the front of the Walkie Talkie building in The City of London that, I thought, resembled a running track. As an added bonus, the moire patterns are included free of charge.

1000 times thank you Mum for this shot <3

Badland road on way to Sheep Mountain outside of Greybull, Wyoming. The road is not too bad here.

Life can have 2 tracks.... Joy and Sorrow... sometimes they meet and we have to make a choice!

So sorry that I have not been around much. I do appreciate your visits! Hoping you are all doing well.
